The Willow in East Lindsey

A good old-fashioned little cafe that serves good hearty meals.Staff are attentive and friendly.There are a lot of regulars that have been going there for years and everyone knows everyone in here (except us 🙄), so the younger generation might find it a bit old fashioned.It's a little quirky inside, and although it needs a serious update, that really doesn't matter because the food is always good!Basically, if you don't mind a little traditional cafe and some good tasty food then I'm sure you will enjoy it!P. S. They also do a delicious afternoon tea for less than most places charge but you will need to book 😋.

What a smashing little cafe/tea room !it's home cooking at its best !the braise steak with 5 veg is out of this world and I love it when wife does not want to cook and suggests I eat out!!!

Been there twice now. Food is top class and plenty of it. Friendly helpful staff. Well recommended. This photo is the braising steak, lots of it and the best I've ever tasted.

Popped in on our way home after holiday for a pre-journey breakfast....as last year it didn't disappoint.....superb food, excellent friendly service....was packed though so book early to avoid disappointment...we're already looking forward to next years!!!

I'm really surprised at all the good reviews, when I tried this place out last year I was SO disappointed. It's a really quaint looking tea room, Alford is a nice old fashioned little town. I really hoped it would be good as I have been looking for a nice local coffee shop after recently moving here.The first issue was that when I walked in they had Lincolnshire FM on really loud and it really is not what you wanna be subjected to, if you're gonna have music pick some that can be in the background and everyone can enjoy. Some quiet jazz or classical, there's a time a place for Lincs FM, like maybe in a greasy spoon, you lot really need to work WITH the lovely style of the shop.The cappuccino was terrible cheap tasting, poorly made, the woman who made it didnt clean the milk nozzle I realised after getting a lump in my mouth and nearly throwing up. I just left it and walked out.

Gorgeous home cooked food. Had Trio Lincolnshire Sausage and Mash and onions. Arrived with fresh vegetables too. Great value and generous portions. Lovely staff and Covid restrictions adhered. Will be back soon

Visited today for the first time, excellent very tasty food, and the staff were so nice, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely visit again. Sue & Richard Wilson

Very good food, reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere. About 2 steps up with handrail to the toilets. Lovely and warm when sunny. Do main meals and sandwiches, plus small selection of desserts. Well worth a visit, busy on market days, Tuesday and Fridays.
