Village Limits Restaurant in East Lindsey

The Village Limits is a fantastic place to visit for a meal, or stay at overnight. I recently had relatives visiting, and they chose to stay here. The room was absolutely beautiful, more like a suite. It's a separate building to the pub/restaurant, around the back of it, so there's no disturbance from people leaving the restaurant. All mod cons were there, from a coffee machine, free WiFi, air-conditioning etc. There's a very decently-sized car park too, off the road and appeared very safe. My relatives thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast, the eggs benedict was exceptional.I ate at the restaurant one evening, and cannot praise the food and service enough. The prices were extremely reasonable, especially when you consider the quality of the meal. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, as we were all too keen to get stuck in!I would recommend the Village Limits to everyone, it's well worth the trip

We had a wonderful stay here, our room was very comfy and well equipped, spotlessly clean and the bed was MASSIVE!!Food and drinks were great, and the full English breakfast was as good, if not better, than most I’ve paid for elsewhere in the past! David, Leigh and the team have done a fantastic job on the place!

Stayed in one of the rooms. Massively exceeded my expectations! The bed was divine. Exceptionally clean, lots of little touches to make your stay more comfortable. Had the breakfast hamper delivered to my room in the morning. Everything was delicious! Dined in the restaurant. The food was fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough. 11 out of 10!

Called on the off chance for a meal, very warm reception and table found, staff were lovely and so was the food. What I really liked was the fact that the menu had grazing options and the main menu came with the option of two sizes which is great for people with smaller appetites, very rarely found with this choice, can't fault the place, will definitely be back, well done Village Limits.

We thought the decor was definitely not in keeping with the building and could be much better with a re-paint. The food was good but the wait for it was too long.We waited 50 minutes for burgers! They were third choice due to unavailability of other meals.

Well run with an excellent choice of food. Cheerful staff who put themselves out to ensure all is ok. Recently had a birthday meal there and was very impressed with the little touches that made the evening memorable.

March2022We booked a suite here for a getaway. Daughter in law recommended it to us. Then we seen that Village limits was on 4 in a bed . Wow it was above our expectations. Can not fault one bit of this lovely bed and breakfast ..Rooms amazing and the food absolutely delicious. Owner's made you feel more than welcome nothing was to much trouble for them ,even to a tea belly needing more tea bags . Definitely will be coming back .

Booked a table for Sunday roast after our dog walk round ostlars. We have never been even tho we are locals.. very very happy with the service and the food was beautiful. Perfectly cooked beef... Nice and pink. Lovely veg and the gravy was amazing. Definitely be coming back with friends next time. Nicely decorated... Is bit orange but I liked it. Not many rums on offer sadly but lots of gin for the ladies. Price was good too. Good work guys

What an absolutely fabulous experience today at Village limits at lunchtime . I had booked a table by phone and mentioned it was my elderly mothers birthday - asking for a table by window . When we arrived beautiful helium balloons , a fabulous welcome and delicious food with so much choice . Then we were totally surprised by the pictured beautiful home baked cake - candies and sang happy birthday when they brought it out . What a lovely place to eat - they went over and above our expectations - the place is decorated tastefully and it is well worth a visit - - we will certainly be dining again - the steaks look delicious !! A lovely place to stay too with lovely rooms - try it - thank you to everyone there - very much appreciated.

I cannot speak for the motel side, but the restaurant has certainly gone down hill since the original owners moved on. Gone is the tasteful conservative decor, and personal service is no more, making way for what looks more like an up market cafe with a now laminate menu. But its not the above that prompts my two stars, the food has not got the quality appeal that it once had, and as for the service, well.........expect a long wait!Disappointed now for the second time.
