Lovely Sunday lunch but you may be kept waiting.Offers vegetarian options too, and they were both enjoyed.Vegetables were cooked nicely, and roast potatoes were 'as you expect'.The hot chocolate drink was a let down and the coffee wasn't brilliant but the Guinness was good.Only our 2nd time here so will update if needed.

Had lunch with friends, lovely meal, friendly atmosphere although a bit quiet. Very good value for money, will definitely go again.

Beautiful pub with very friendly and helpful staff , lovely owners and a great menu with varied selection suitable for all.

A cheerful welcome followed by really quick food service. Fish and chips were delicious, piping hot and excellent value at £8.95.

Great country pub with a lovely couple running it. Food is great and reasonably priced. Worth a visit summer or winter.

In a sparce area of the country it was good to find a pub with real ales. Not surprisingly it was Batemans and I just had one excellent TripleXB. Obviously there were many locals enjoying the Friday evening.

A really lovely village pub, with a friendly landlord. Great beer - a choice of 3 Batsman's case ales, all well looked after. Comfortable inside plus several tables outside.

Clean and tidy pub, visited for lunch mid week whilst on holiday in the area. Sampled two of the three Bateman cask ales, kept very well. Home cooked pub food in good portions and good value for money, gammon steak nicely cooked. Toilets made me laugh.
