Excellent food with good choice. Efficient staff and food delivered quickly. Only downside, went to the bat 7.30 to order food and was told food orders stopped at 7.30. Ist week in August height of season, extraordinary. We went to Hollywood Restaurant near fantasy island and still serving food at 11 p.m. Excellent food too with live entertainment.

Most of our meals were lovely, besides the chicken curry as the chicken was too dry. However the children's meals, the steaks and the hunters chicken were perfect.Unfortunately one meal arrived missing onion rings, however this was quickly rectified. The gluten free meal was plentiful and again, very tasty (I also had the steak), and the menu was also clear on which meals were gluten free, dairy free or both. Again with the vegetarian/vegan menu, it was clear to read and several options available. The free soft play and outdoor playground were loved by our children, and the entertainment was very good. The downsides are that you have to order your food from one till, but then need to queue up again to order drinks as they will not allow you to order them with your meal.Further, one of the entertainment staff was rather short with us when we attempted to speak to them. We simply wanted to ask if they could say happy birthday to my daughter, and we did not approach them whilst they were busy or performing etc, however she was very short and dismissive. Even a polite "no" would have been acceptable.Overall, we would gladly visit again if we were to be in Ingoldmells.

Went there as reviews were good and I was wanting there ribs that people had said were the best all I could order was drinks as the Web site still states that they serve ribs but this is not so and for that reason I didn't order food I couldn't have a guineas as I'd liked cos the bar person said there was a problem with the gas on the beer and like pumps so was offered larger I opted for a cold bottled beer from fridges. My partner wanted a j20 and they said we only stock 2 types yet showing a full range of j2o s on the back shelving of the bar so we headed for the way out and don't think we will be back hence rating.

We went on a weekday, late afternoon during term time for dinner. There were 5 of us, two adults and three children. We sat inside on the raised section near the play area. I really like that the play area has such a large viewing window, as you're able to keep an eye on your kids easily. We did notice that the age limit was 8 and under for the play area, so kept our eldest son from entering, although there were some older children playing roughly around much smaller with no intervention from parents or staff, so took ours out until they settled down (it is nice to see older kids playing though). So just be mindful that you do need to be responsible and watch for your own kids, which as I say, is easy thanks to the huge glass window. There is also an outdoor playground that is suitable for older kids. The service was great, the waitress was able to check about allergies for me, as my daughter has numerous allergies and intolerances that weren't listed on the allergen menu. Ordering is at the bar, and was straight forward, although it would have been easier to order food and drinks as one, instead of separately. Food arrived promptly and freshly cooked/hot. For the style of food (think Brewers Fayre etc) it was really tasty, the chicken burger had a nice crunch to it, the burger was juicy and the sausage and mash was really good. My only preference would have been branded sauces, as the off brand version used tasted very vinegar-like (both mayo and ketchup). The only thing of importance to note food wise, was that regular butter was sent with our daughters allergen meal (dairy free, soya free, gluten free and oat free), thankfully it was in packets, and I didn't mention it at the time as she doesn't tend to eat the bread anyway, but this could have been a really allergen risk if not noticed. After the meal, the waitress cleared the plates quickly and efficiently, checking that we'd all finished with them too. (She really was brilliant, efficient and friendly). We will definitely return again!

Lovely Carvery! A choice of Beef, Gammon, Turkey, steak and ale pie or Lincolnshire Sausage. There is also a vegetarian sausage or pie option. I had a regular sized portion at £9.95 and chose turkey and pie!! Which were both delicious! You can choose 1 type of meat or slice of 2 on a regular sized plate and this includes the pie (which I was surprised about!). You are also asked if you would like a Yorkshire pudding and a small Lincolnshire Sausage (I had both)....this is all before you get to the veg, potatoes and stuffing! There was plenty of veg to choose from too! Cauliflower cheese was lovely and cheesy, honey roasted parsnips were amazing! Mashed, roasted and new potatoes were all available and unlike many other carvery's you can help yourself to stuffing. The gravy was meaty and delicious. It's really difficult to say anything bad about this carvery but if I had to it would be that the roast beef was overcooked for my liking (I am sure it was fine for others including my husband who had no complaints about it being on the well done side), the small Sausage offered was a little dry (still tasty) and the yorkies were of the frozen variety. There are take away cartons out to help yourself too if you find your eyes are bigger than your belly! I did see people abusing this though as they were piling their plates with enough food for 2 people and off loading half of it into a takeaway container as soon as they sat down to take home. I advise you get there early on a Sunday as the queues can be quite long and you may have to wait a little while (well worth it!).We will definitely be back here on our next visit to the area! Well done Woody's you have got it very right!!

For a holiday park bar the food is actually really well cooked, had the mixed grill twice now and it's been well cooked each time, my better half has had different dishes and enjoyed each time. A little on the expensive side food wise but the drinks are not much more than regular pubs, a real benefit when you can leave your car beside the van and not worry about having to get a lift or taxi. Entertainment on most weekends preceded by the kids dance and games ensure the family are all catered for as best they can.

Was happy as went on a Wednesday for a carvery and found it was 2 for £16, good choice of meats and pie, but vegetables a bit lacking in choice, stuffing balls over cooked but was happy with everything else. Nice place and good outside seating area on a lovely day.

Lovely food, very helpful and friendly staff.👍

Great place with entertainers & acts & a supervised soft play area. Food was decent. Drinks reasonably priced. The live & wild guy on the last night of our holiday was the highlight of the holiday for us.I bet the place is absolutely mental in the summertime though & probably standing room only.Entertainment is easily as good as what you'd pay entertainment passes for elsewhere.Very clean when we went (in April)

The only thing I can say is awesome food... I went for what I thought would be a standard carvery, but this was one of the nicest carvery that I've had.. not only was the food hot and tasty they even had pie which that put on with your meat.. outdoor play area so the kids have some where to burn off the energy, pool table planty of seats...
