Bulwick Village Shop in East Northamptonshire

We arrived at 12:00 and didn’t get our food until 1:15 , only ordered a fishfinger sandwich, ham sandwich and a ploughman’s , some locals came in a while after us and got served before us , one of the ladies came and said they were short staffed but still managed to get there regular customers food out quicker than ours won’t be coming back

Lovely place with delicious home made pastries and cakes, including gluten free options. Great customer service from the very considerate shop assistant, possibly owner. Would definitely go back again. Really nice place.

Great range of home made preserves. Along with sandwiches and other village shop stuff. I did bang my head on the way in, so just be careful. 👍

Some friends and I happened upon this place during a rural ramble. We were told food was the best in the area and went inside. We bought hot food, drink and cake and sat on the terrace to enjoy them. A rude female staff member burst out of the doors we had just walked out of to say the seating was not meant for us, but we would know for next time? There were NO customers there and it was NOT very welcoming for us out-of-towners. See you tenth of never!

Strange place. We were initially invited in to go inside to buy things and sit outside by one chap, bought things, sat outside, were then told we are not meant to by another lady who was quite hostile. It’s expensive and no one else was there so not sure why that happened but it felt like we weren’t welcome.

Lovely shop, lovely lady running it.I went there for 'The Pickled Village' range having been given some for Christmas. Well worth a visit.Just watch your head going in, the doorway and ceiling just inside are very low.

First timer to the store. Impressive range on offer from jars of Pickled Village chutney to freshly baked goods and a range of cheeses. Stopped in to get a few jars of aforementioned chutney and ended up with loads more. I am vegan and there were many suitable for me to choose from. Owner was lovely and friendly and helpful with selection. The one I pictured is wonderfully tasty and very hot 🔥 if that's what you like. I will most definitely be returning very soon. Highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely lovely. Homemade produce,cakes,jams,chutneys etc. Beautiful views from the outside seating area which boasts lap blankets to keep you warm as you induge. So thoughtful, a real gem xx

Riding from Melton Mowbray to Cambridge this was one of only a few village shops I passed. As well as local produce they also sell drinks, hot & cold snacks, etc. Perfect for refuelling on a winter bike ride. The lady serving was very cheerful and helpful.
