Good food, above standard chinese, always have a takeaway every weekend, top stuff!

Amazing food, all of my family and friends all come to this takeaway multiple times a month, Delicious!!!

Absolutely disgusting food do not buy any food there

Golden Pavilion used to be the best for miles around some years ago. Then in came new owners and its reputation steadily went down. I decided to try the place again as I hadn't been there for over quite a while. I wish I hadn't. The food was so awful, I threw it away. Overcooked in dirty oils and fats. I wondered how they make a living, customers must be drifting away in droves. All a big shame really.

Poor standard , staff not very polite . Food was expensive , normally boiled rice is included with a curry . The curry sauce looked like diahorrea, the chicken was poor quality and slimmy. The duck was dry .the rice was stoggy. Worst Chinese I have ever had.

The salt and pepper chips are very good but the rest of the food was fairly standard. The main issue i had was that when I returned home I found that one of our dishes was missing. When I returned to collect it no apology was offered at all. The least they could do was offer an apology for their mistake.

Bit disappointed me and my family have been coming here for years the food used to be so good now it’s all gone down hill. The sweet and sour sauce tastes like rubber , the duck was burnt and my partners chicken curry didn’t taste nice at all and they don’t give out prawn crackers you have to pay for it I will definitely not be returning.

A very loyal customer left dissatisfied. My family spend well over £100 a month at this takeaway. The shop usually give a bag of prawn crackers with our order and today they didn’t. When asking the lady why they didn’t put any in this week, I was told they no longer put the crackers in. I will take my loyal business elsewhere.

Had their sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style and it was awful. Chicken had soggy batter and one big bit of chicken had been battered then cut into slices, meaning no individually battered and fried pieces. Only gave 2 stars because my daughters food was ok.

Came here after recommendation from friends. Not disappointed. Great food which kept lovely and hot until I got home. Not greasy. Size of portions good. I can see why so many people like this Chinese take away.
