Masala Hut Indian Takeaway in East Northamptonshire

We've been regulars for a long time and the consistency with orders can vary. Nawabi Murgh is my go to dish, vibrant red, large veg and meat chunks and full of flavour, can't rate it enough!I have no idea what they sent me tonight, but a Nawabi Murgh it was not. Just hot and bitter. Like base gravy with chilli powder poured in. Chicken was woody too.Abandoned my meal a few mouthfuls in and settled for the plain naan. This was the last chance for me, sorry guys, just too variable as this isn't the first time I've had an entirely different dish marked up as something it's not. Such a shame cause we used to rate you guys so highly.

I am sorry, but I found the Naga tasted like salt-water-gargle, like when you have a sore throat, very very very salty. Only very hot. There was no other taste. The lamb was incredibly tough and lacked any flavour, I had to chew into the sinew which had not broken down in the cooking process repeatedly: Like they haven't yet discovered the value of a slow cooker to tenderise meat before adding to the dish; Mutton, it was Mutton.The Ceylon has a thin gravy, it had coconut in it like you might add when baking. It was fairly hot and somewhat sweet so obviously not going to taste terrible. Just not inspiring.Rice was great and the Keema Naan passed as well but, sorry I want better quality for £18+

Love this place. Guys, don't ever change your recipe for King Prawn Puri: sooooo good. The heat of the sauce and sweetness of the prawns is *perfectly* balanced. Your Saag Aloo is lovely.

Top curry house in the rushden area. It beats all the places by far. I’m from Sharnbrook and I find it worth traveling to get the food as there are no other place’s, which meets my standards until I found this place and seeing the good reviews online gave me a better gut feeling. There are a few bad reviews, I guess they can’t keep everyone happy as they have a certain capacity. Another factor was the hygiene levels and from the certificates shown in the shop, they were 5* all inspections and they have been operating for a long time. People nowadays need to give others a second chance instead of writing negative reviews as it can ruin their business. Just speak to them directly and get it resolved. Simple as!! Your definitely getting me back as your customer, regardless of the few negative reviews. see you soon :)

I was passing through Rushden and felt like an Indian. Seeing a positive reviews online and from friends around the area. This was my first time trying Masala Hut and most certainly won’t be my last. The food tasted so fresh and cooked with high quality standards. Nayef (the manager/advisor) was so kind and helpful as he chose the dishes for me, he clearly knew what I wanted and read my mind. I’ll be back soon. :)

Lovely food. We had a large, family order and it was ready very quickly. More importantly, it tasted amazing! Me, my wife and 4 kids (who all have different tastes and likes) all loved the food and want it to be a regular thing! High praise from a picky set of customers! We will be back soon

I’ve been using MasalaHut for 8 years now, it has never disappointed me. They keep there food quality consistent and it’s pretty hard to find it, nowadays elsewhere. The man over the phone who takes my order is always cheerful and always tries to have a laugh, I’ve seen him grow up from a little boy to a man that’s how long I’ve been using them. If you haven’t tried this place, I guess your missing out!

Best Indian in Rushden. I have been using masalahut for a few years now and never faulted there food as makes it worth waiting for even if it’s a bit longer than expected. The customer service is amazing with the young friendly manager always maintaining his profession and being honest about the timings. If your looking for an Indian takeaway then this is the right place or else it will be your loss. :)

BEST INDIAN IN RUSHDEN!! We had a family gathering after the lockdown was eased. MasalaHut provided contactless delivery to prioritised the safety of me and themselves. Once we received our meal earlier than expected. :) family members tucked in and were complimenting every bit of the food as it was packed with flavour, I used them once before through just-eat. However, I thought this time, I would you use their website as it was easy and simple to use. Great people, great food and great service. I will definitely be back for more. For those who haven’t tried MasalaHut, you are certainly missing out.
