It's a hungry Horse.The menu is as expected, cheap and cheerful.Food service is fairly fast.The menu does have the calorie count next to most dishes too.You order at the table via an app, or you go to the bar and order and pay at the same time..Parking is 2.5 hours for free, if you stay any longer you have to scan a QR code by the entrance or you will receive a £100 fine. This in itself is a kerfuffle!!Outside seating is minimal.Booking in advance is now advised as it gets fairly busy and tables arnt always available.Wait by the door to be seated on entrance.Great for families.Dogs allowed outside, not inside.

AMAZING! We was served politely and efficiently. The food arrived really quick and between 6 of us there was not a single issue. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you to the staff for a really great experience. We will be visiting again! I would also like to mention the service was during a busy period so its run really well.

Parked in Disabled with blue badge. Two signs, 1 Bar entrance 1 Family & Dining entrance. As we wanted to eat we walked from disabled parking round the side to the Dining entrance. We found a table and we're about to sit when a waitress told us we had to go to the other door to check in for a table. NO SIGNS ANYWHERE TO INDICATE THIS. NO INFORMATION to show that the "Bar entrance " was the one to use to get a table for dining! Why isn't the check in station at the DINING ENTRANCE?! 😕 As clearly disabled we walked much further than anticipated or than what was necessary. Even laminated paper signs would suffice. We were put in a booth then moved to a table. No QR code to link to the app for table ordering. Rant over, the young waiting staff were lovely, polite, friendly and courteous. The food was lovely. Unfortunately the garlic mushrooms came with a salad covered in vinegrette and mustard seeds, yet no mention of this on the menu. A quick swap of starters sorted this but in the day of food allergy awareness this small detail could prove fatal for someone (speaking as a mother of an epipen carrying allergy sufferer).EDIT: Response from owner appreciated. I politely suggest that at busy times when a host is implemented that a SIGN BE PUT ON THE DOORS. USE THE DINING DOOR FOR HOST, NOT THE BAR ENTRANCE. We had never been to this pub before so didn't know the protocol. Simple SIGNS/POSTERS giving the information would solve confusion. We were not the only customers who were 'inconvenienced' by the so called system! As for the app, we were NOT TOLD about it. Vinegrette is a very personal choice you either like it or don't regardless of allergies. My husband does not have any allergies yet dislikes salad dressings. This should be an option, it is as easy as asking how you like your steak cooked. As I said the food was lovely. The YOUNG waiting staff were attentive and helpful but the host who seated us was clearly annoyed that we had attempted to find a table without her, an attitude that tainted our dining. INFORMATION IS VITAL.

Absolutely a fantastic service! Went in and ordered and within 10 minutes we had our lovely steak dinners. The meat was great very tender. Love it and the price was reasonable as well. We'll be back.

Large group of us went for a meal there last night. The food was amazing had the smoking jack burger. The staff can't be faulted, Wendy looked after us the whole evening and she was so friendly, chatty. Amazing value for money. Would recommend anyone to go here as there is a great atmosphere.

Had a really lovely meal today, warm welcome from lady on door and nothing was too much trouble for her. The kids all ordered their meals without this , without that , with something seperate and they all came out correct. Don't normally enjoy meals at chain restaurants at all but the food was hot , quick and tasty certainly look forward to our next visit.

Food is really good fresh tasty and good portion sizes not the cheapest BUT.... quality over seeds that to make it worth every penny

I ordered the Big plate special Halloumi sandwich which comes with onion rings and fries. Tasted beautiful the photo doesn't do it justice! Ordered through the app while sat at the table. Food came quick and hot. Staff were very friendly will be back again :)

Large, easily accessible car park. Ample outside seating and even play area for the kids. Staff friendly and cleared the table of empties pretty quickly. Food was awesome and hit the spot for a good price
