Onkar Indian Restaurant in East Northamptonshire

Just finished my meal that was delivered in great time and with a smile as always. Mixed grill was so good I had to put a review up straight away!

One of the best places to enjoy a great Indian cuisine believe me I've been around most of the world .The Onkar indian restaurant is an absolute delight to the palate.Great staff always inventive and egar to serve.Wonderful place to eat and drink or carry out,very nice place.

My favourite curry house. The food is amazing. Very welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Staff are friendly and obliging. To save disappointment call ahead and make a reservation before you pay this little gem a visit, especially Saturday evenings as it can be fully booked.

Great food, lovely people.(Quite typical of you to say thanks for my 4 words! So many others have said what's good here that I was short of things to add. Here's a point..your young waiters are always terrific. Is it that you choose them well? Or training? Always spot on, anyway.)

Lovely place to eat, authentic food and the naans were perfectly cooked, curry was delicious and the atmosphere was very Indian. If you come to Oundle for a bite to eat I would recommend Onkar for a romantic meal or large parties, and recommend to come during the week since there is a 3 course meal for a steal of a price.

This was our first visit and we were very impressed! The food was cooked beautifully andtasted amazing. I would as far as to say it's up there with the best I've had.We were a party of 4 and each if us enjoyed our curries immensely.Price wise it was very reasonable.Without doubt we will be going back!

First visit here last night with my colleague. Wow the food, the service everything was incredible. Best curry we have both had in years and what amazing value at £12 for a 3 course meal. We can't wait to visit again!

Great environment, clean establishment and friendly attentive staff. Food was delicious and fresh. Beer was cold and refreshing. I didn't have a single complaint. By far one of my favourite places, beating the likes of Jinnah and Aagrah. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to our next meal there.

I am afraid I had one of the worst takeaways from what was meant to be a good curry house. Even my curry loving dog would not eat the starters. Rush off their feet, I think the kitchen was struggling. My Chicken Korma was watery and the chicken chunks where very pink. It went in the bin. Really sad to say as the atmosphere was nice and the staff super friendly, but to arrive home and put it in the bin was such a disappointment.
