Probably a bit unfair to share this rating as they were almost closed but there was not much prepered food to choose from, I had the last two small sausages leaving a fish cake and piece of chicken behind.The chips were OK but slightly over cooked due to being sat in the warmer for sometime I guess.As I say though, I was probably the last customer before closing, the weather was atrocious (keeping more people away) so I would not expect this to be considered as a "business as usual" type review.

The staff are either ignorant or plain ignorant, they try it on and sell you food that has been hanging around for a while , at first i thought they were great, but in the last 2 months standards have dropped, i would think twice about ordering from them as they get the orders wrong. I give one star for the driver who has to do the horrible job of delivering.

Superb plaice and chips today. Lovely crispy batter and fish cooked perfectly. Will definitely return with the family. And heard someone else order battered Oreo’s!

Delivered quickly, friendly efficient service and I doubt you'd find better cod and chips anywhere. The portions are perfect for a hearty appetite and the fish is really superb.An excellent lunch, the queen can dine alone.

A few weeks ago , I rang my order in , to be collected by my husband when he finished work at 8pm , its never a problem , as he's 5minutes from shop . This particular day, they said they were shutting up shop at 8pm and were not prepared to wait til my hubby got there , I looked on shop times , and on website, it definitely says it closes at 9pm. I said fine, put the phone down . They then continued to ring a dozen times, but I was on the phone, first to hubby , telling him to come straight home , as I'd rang another place to get delivery instead.I tried again to ring them on Monday to place an order, website again says close at 9pm. I rang them , on and off starting around 6:30pm up till nearly 8pm .This time they didn't answer the phone at all .All I'll add to this is, they won't be getting around £30 worth of our order once every week .
