Lovely, friendly pub. Plenty of outdoor seating and good range of indoor seating too. Live music, see events board

We were greeted by friendly waitresses and shown to a pre booked tablet. Ordering our food was easy and delivered very quickly after ordering , the food was spot on.What I also liked about the service was the fact our waitress knew how many main meals were still available from the kitchen.Worth a visit, but I would recommend booking first.

Lovely cosy pub. Great selection of drinks and really good quality food. The staff are really friendly and treat you like a local even if you’re just passing by. Lovely owners who you can tell really care about their hotel/restaurant/pub. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on way through to Norfolk. Sandwich was very nice and pub very pleasant. My only complaint was that she cleared the table before we had even finished our drinks. Seemed like we were being rushed along!

Lovely pub/restaurant. Has good parking and an outside seating area in a nice village. Food was tasty and the service was prompt. Prices were in the low to mid range.

As per usual we had a fantastic meal at the Collyweston Slater. Beautifully cooked, great service and no scrimping on the portions!!! Nice choice of real ales and desserts as well.

Visited when staying at local campsite. Very accommodating and friendly staff and really enjoyable food. Dog friendly too. Will definitely be back next time in the area.

Avoid. We went here for the 1st ti me in December for what was advertised as a family quiz 'bring the whole family' we had a lovely evening and decided to go back tonight (6.30pm) for the same quiz. We weren't welcome to use/have a highchair (they weren't serving food). We were there about 20mins and the family joined us we were allowed to order drinks only to then be told my little boy wasn't welcome after 8.30 and we could pay and do half the quiz then leave or not partake- she was rude and did not implement this so called licensing issue on our previous visit. The place is clean and has a good range of drinks and will make coffees etc in an evening but due to the inconsistencies by the owner who was kind, chatty and welcoming the 1st time and perfectly happy for us to be there as a family to damn right rude the 2nd and saying we couldnt be there and allowing us to buy drinks etc before saying we weren't welcome I won't be going back.

Great pub, the waitress service was excellent really welcoming! Oh and the new menu and food was perfect. We'll worth stopping off if you are passing.

Quite busy, it would be wise to book your table beforehand. Not the largest menu but all the usual suspects are available at a reasonable price. Landlady and staff very welcoming on the Sunday afternoon we visited, open tabs are accepted, table service is offered so once you are seated there is no need to visit the bar for drinks or order food, settle account on leaving. Recommended!
