The Exeter Arms in East Northamptonshire

Excellent food and great service!We had a table for 2 and order 5 dishes which was enough for us, we also had 3 cocktails. I couldnt fault the food, it's was fabulous and the cocktails very tasty.I'll definitely be going back again.

The food is sublime (esp the turbo) and the service first rate. We stayed over one night in the Expresso Martini room where they leave a pre-mixed cocktail in the room on arrival - lovely touch. The owners are very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are well done and very reasonable for the standard they offer. Would 100% come again and recommend to others. Thanks guys

Beautifully refurbished and with the most exciting food menu in the area. The young guys who took this place over a couple of years ago have shaken things up in a good way.

Fantastic! Second visit to Exeter Arms, excellent service and friendly staff...especially Ben who looked after us brilliantly. Would highly recommend.

Tasty, but “small plates” really are small - budget £70 a head if you don’t want to leave hungry.You have to take a microscope to the website to find that this is a “tapas” place. How my heart sank when we got the concepts speech at the start!And bring a coat in winter in case you’re sat in the bay window seats as the windows are drafty and single glazed (as you’d imagine given its history).

So good! The food is always fantastic (the plates changing every now and then to keep it interesting) and the service is second to none - the guys are friendly, funny and attentive. We've ended up going almost every month recently!

Very good menu and food flavoursome well presented and served in portions that are lovely to share. Atmosphere warm and friendly service excellent and all staff friendly knowledgeable and keep the atmosphere relaxing so you don't feel pressurised into eating quickly because they need your table. Will definitely recommend.

We had dinner here last night and not only was the food beautifully presented and tasty, the service was great and from the moment you walk in they make every effort to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. A day by the sea was my favourite dish, very innovative. We will definitely be back

Absolutely fantastic lunch. Great flavours and we'll presented. You can see these guys are passionate about what they're doing. Very highly recommended, will definitely be back.
