The Montagu Arms in East Northamptonshire

Our friend kindly brought us to your lovely restaurant yesterday for a meal at lunch time. 21.4.22. The meals were absolutely delicious, dessert was to die for and the service impeccable. Nathan was our waiter, and I cannot fault him. He was friendly and we had a laugh with him. If all restaurants could have a Nathan we would be happy. He was very interested in our granddaughter whose 9 playing football , only girl in a team of 11boys. Please thank him on his fabulous service.

Went there twice recently. On Sunday I had the beef sirloin roast dinner. I' haven't had one that good since my mother's. Staff are excellent service very good...no complaints. As I said to Ian the day before, "You have done a splendid job in making The Montagu Arms the best pub/restaurant for miles, in my view". Well, I didn't actually say that precisely but should have. Take care guys, well done.

This is the second time of visiting this pub, the first time it was fantastic, the second not so fantastic, in fact very disappointed.I know that places struggle to cater when it comes to Mothers Day etc…, I had higher hopes for this place from experience, but No, the same as everywhere else, a limited, drab menu. The food was ok, I could do better at home myself, and I’m no chef.Sorry guys, like everywhere else avoid for a special mass occasion.Not even the front of house staff could turn this one around, as good as they are.But to end on a positive, what a village!

Absolutely fantastic pub, was in the area and stopped off on Sat for a drink. Was so good returned the following day for food which was great, Great beer and great hospitality. Would be very happy for this to be my local 10 out of 10.

This is a picturesque little pub, with great selection of real ales and beers. I had food her many times in the past and have always been left full and happy. The menu is changed recently and plenty of house special to keep menu fresh 10/10

Well what a fantastic day table of 10 for lunch today for my dads 78th birthday. Food was fantastic and table service was first class. They looked after us really well, couldn’t of asked for more, thank you.

A chance pub lunch on DofE expedition pickup duties. I can't recommend the Stilton burger enough, lovely beer garden feeling lucky to be able to eat out in the sun late October in this lovely beer garden

Absolutely our favourite place to visit at the minute. We are never rushed, the food is always amazing and the service is on point!
