Came last Sunday. The staff behind didn’t have a clue what they were doing. The rest of the service was a mess as well with cutlery practically being thrown at us.It was very organised. The food could have been better but organisation was poor

Good food, however service wasn't great. Waiting to order dessert and further drinks, and was informed the table was booked for someone else. After waiting 30 minutes to order dessert. Maybe a one off, sad really as the food was very good. There was other tables that were seated prior, so, a little strange.

Newly opened after refurb and new management, first visit for me with this new management and I have to say it was very relaxed , warm and welcoming. I visited alone but didn’t feel like I was. Food was reasonable, I ordered rump steak med rare , onion ring were crispy, better than before. All in all a very pleasant visit so won’t mind visiting again on a regular basis as I have done. Emma was very pleasant and seemed like she was relaxed and she owned it. Very good.

Disgusted. Very slow service, waited nearly 30 mins for main course to come, when finished took our plates and never saw another person. Wanted to order desserts and more drinks after waiting 20 mins we was told the table was booked again, so we left in disgust. Will never go gete again or recommend to anyone. Used to be a liovly friendly place.

We have just returned from having one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Friendly staff, well looked after, meals all amazing large portions could not fault in any way. Definitely recommend.

Surprise venue chosen by one of my sons for my (81st) birthday lunch. Lovely building, very friendly staff and superb food, beautifully cooked and presented. Highly recommended.

Nice little country pub. We were allowed in with the dog although you have to sit up in the bar area which seemed perfectly fair. We had coffees and a light bite. The coffee I had, flat white, was one of the best I've had. The food was very tasty indeed. Staff were very friendly. Totally recommend

Absolutely amazing! We went on a Sunday for the roast, the family had the roast and I had the pesto hake. I do enjoy a pub that serves other food on Sundays so you have the option.Every plate was clear! The staff were helpful and friendly and the toilets were very clean.I did notice a lot of steps so if you have trouble with steps I would call ahead to make sure you have a table to suit. (wheelchair access)
