The Red Cafe Fish N Chips in East Northamptonshire

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!I ordered from here on Saturday expecting a desirable meal, yet I received a meal that was did not sustain needs. I had opened this to come to the realisation that my food was cold. I was told this was to be fresh fish and chips but was distinctly not. I had also asked for it to be crispy but was only to be given a soggy fish.I had also heard from one of the staff members that the pies get microwaved rather then being “cooked” fresh.I will not be coming to this establishment ever again due to this foul experience.

Absolutely love the food from here and always look forward to it! Always arrives quickly and hot! Great local business in Rushden.

Beautiful, piping hot food every time I have ordered the food has been lovely, and delivered in excellent time p.s. the dog loves the sausages :-)

Not open every day, but good value for monet, and they deliver too.

The fish chips and peas are so well cooked and taste delicious. The Red Cafe is the best , keeping me informed of the delivery . Super !

Used this place for the first time tonight and I'm very dissapointed. Food was delivered by motorbike - it had been crushed and would easily have fitted through the letter box. The large chips were the smallest 'large' portion I'd ever seen. The chilli bites had disintegrated during the journey. The battered sausages were saturated with a quite rancidly tasting fat. On a positive the curry sauce was nice. I won't use them again... In summary, small portions of poor quality food.

If you like your cod huge, and in a crispy golden batter, then you will like this place. They do fish and chips properly! The cafe is impeccably clean and the staff are very friendly.The cod gets its individual box, as do the chips and that means when you bring them home they are a delight to eat. Still crisp and not soggy.I saw the onion rings in the hot box and they look a delicious treat. I may have to try next time I'm there.The price is worth it for the quality of their product. If you want good fish and chips, then try this crispy golden gem

First time we have had Fish and Chips from here. have to say it was the best fish and chips we have had for a long time .lovely young girl serving, and training a young lad as well. so pleasant , could not fault the service or the food , as the saying goes' I will be back'would recommend these fish and chips to everybodyRob stone
