Waitrose cafe Rushden in East Northamptonshire

I absolutely love the new look. Unfortunately I visited the loos today. Whilst I was in a cubicle a disabled person and her carer came into the toilets. A member of staff asked if she could 'nip in front' as she was on a customer service desk on her own. I checked out of my cubicle and in realising that the ladies wheelchair wasn't going to fit into the cubicle I explained that there was a disabled loo a little way down the corridor. I showed them to it. The Waitrose member of staff followed us out and said ' I thought they'd put one in'. Fuming about her ignorance and and selfishness I can't get it out of my mind. Sorry Waitrose 😞

A refurbished waitrose, with a fresh sushi counter, a meat counter and a fish counter.A dry aged area with a display case to view the meat.Lots of different breads.A large alcohol section.A John lewis area at the end of the store with a selection of homeware.A cafe.A community area available for hire, free to use for organisations but needs booking in advance.Plenty of parking outside, even at weekends.Definitely an upgrade from the usual, and worth a visit.

The new refit is very well done. The coffee shop was at the time of my visit very nice, relaxing. Great choice of products at competitive prices. JL new shop looks very interesting and modern.

Great store to shop in, had most things I needed, fresh fruit and veg and the till are pretty fast to get through helpful friendly staff

I was told by my friend that your store was top quality and to expect to pay a bit higher price I decided to treat my wife and myself and purchased a sirloin steak for £15.75 (we would have half each) It was the toughest piece of meat I have ever fried I prepared another meal for us and our dog ate the steak I have been a cook for most of my life now 84 years old Bad Show You will not see me again

Waitrose is a well respected supermarket. Covid precautions have been in place. Staff are pleasant and always helpful. Excellent fruit and veg section, also beers, wines and spirits. Great to see deli extending its offer again. And the cafe is open again. Since my last review the store has been remodeled. Cafe moved. New sushi counter. Although reduced in size overall, it does not seem that way. Pleasant shopping experience.

Love shopping here, friendly staff. Some rather obscure product lines that I've never seen. Brilliant way to stand apart from other supermarkets.

Just had a fabulous visit to Waitrose!! After the revamp everything looks gorgeous - clean, modern and bright. Staff as friendly and helpful as ever! I was blown away by the new cafe - could be visiting every day! Well done Waitrose, a triumph! 👍😊

We visited again this afternoon and on 3rd time since shop was revamped and still could not get a free copy of the Daily Mail. This can be sporadic usually but after an increase of footfall at Christmas and new store promotion, surely the orders of newspapers should reflect this.A complaint at Customer Service was met with polite member of staff saying they have reduced the order quantities. We asked to write feedback there was no format through her till or on a paper form. She indicated there was a book of feedback but did not offer to write anything. The member of staff went off to seek a manager and came back saying he would see to it.Customers monitor the newspaper situation please and do feedback. Waitrose no longer gives free coffee or any vouchers at restaurant to support loyal Christmas Waitrose customers. This was stopped during the pandemic and unlikely to return.The store has a difficult layout which does not always make sense. The butter is in a weird position and a different member of staff said no one can find it! Products such as bags of potatoes for Christmas were displayed as today's date and not reduced or marked in any way. If shoppers were hurrying they could purchase it thinking it would last until Christmas.

Amber on the self checkout tills is possibly the rudest shop worker I have come across this festive season. A lady with such charisma and personality would be far more suited to the warehouse away from the public .
