Asda Cafe Long Eaton in Erewash

Convenience for a dedicated shop. For many locals a childhood shop, although the original store was improved on. Moved across the car park made larger. Classics roam these aisels, and this store is wellbeing centred in many ways.

Always a pleasure to visit this store, was even better today when a lady working on the till saw a birthday cake with a pic of me on it, then sang happy birthday to me, what a lovely thing to do , thankyou 🙂

Although other large supermarkets hold virtually the same product, I personally favour ASDA, as they have a better product range on the whole.

Pharmacy would not sell clove oil to me and my partner and gave no valid reason for it. Buying for a valid purpose and reason was completely honest but not allowed to purchase. Having to go to another business. Not the first issue where staff are rude and pushy and for someone with mental health issues this is distressing. Some training would be good although not all staff have been rude some are lovely

Prices are on average -par with or better than other competitors on some goods. Happy to help logo is purely fantasy. Why haven't these places adopted a part finder touch screen so those who know what they're after can find that item quickly then leave?

Quite a nice asda, decent sized, worth a try. Good deal shirts for my upcoming holiday. Staff relatively polite, was asked politely to move at the self-service checkout due to covid.

All the usual that is expected of Asda, good quality produce ,great value and a wide range of products. However the pharmacy is situated at the far right corner of the store unlike most which are just as you enter, anyone needing only to collect a prescription will have to navigate shoppers which normally shouldn't be a problem but in these circumstances that we are in and with the need to keep distance from others i feel many may be put off from using the service. Overall though a clean bright store with helpful staff and ample parking spaces.

If you are expecting simple manners from the staff, I wouldn't recommend going into the store at any time past 9pm, particularly the elderly security. I was told that the cigarette counter was closed due to "not having enough staff" - which wasn't the main reason I was shopping there - but I was also told to "be quiet" by said security guard when politely asking a question because he was too busy listening to something on his headset - which I was not aware of because I don't have superman levels of hearing. During the day, the staff are usually lovely and polite, so avoid at night and go Tesco instead

We like to do our shopping here. Lot's of choice and everything we need. I am giving 3 stars because we find second time that the mustard on the shelf have expired date😡
