Great fish and chips! The staff are lovely and kind. Has a small seating area inside but they do have outdoor seating at the back of there no space.What great about this place is that they cook their fish on demand so it always be fresh.

Proper fish & chips Cooked in beef dripping “game changer” Switched to these after many disappointments with Cods Scollop establishment. These guys are much better in every way! Always friendly and polite, decent portions and good price. Well deserved review. Try the Yorkshire fish cakes and thank me later.

Fabulous freshly cooked chips with piping hot curry sauce and batter bits.Top service too!

I am happy to support the only fish and chips shop in the area that still use traditional beef drippings (instead of toxic vegetable oil) to cook their food everyday. The other one only do them Mondays.This is actually healthier than most chip shops.Try the battered chips.

Wow…. As in the name … THE BEST of British fish & Chip Shop! I am Coeliac and after a quick google found this absolute gem!We were served by Derek who was so helpful with my Coeliac needs, very informative and great care for no cross contamination… ! I have never had such beautiful, crunchy and delicious batter…. Soft perfect melting white fish … and THE most scrumptious beef dripping chips that were the best I have EVER had and all Gluten free!!!! My partner had ‘normal’ fish & chips and also said that they were the best he has EVER had.Sorry didn’t have chance to take a pic of the food… so the empty plates will have to do for now!Now the one and only chippy for us…. I had the Mini Fish n Chips with mushy peas and it was great. Nice clean shop with a friendly staff. I’d highly recommend.

After my wife found this chippy with their gluten free option, and loved it, I had fish and chips too. The best fish and chips, just lovely! Chunky and white fish. The gluten free batter is great. Tasty chips round off a cracking fish and chips! Friendly folk too. Thank you.

Oh my this was wonderful. I'm gluten free and struggle with finding somewhere suitable on the days I fancy fish and chips. I had a Google and found this absolute gem. I never knew it existed until tonight. Gave them a call to check times and popped down. They do gluten free every day of the week!!! It was amazing. So, so tasty. Not greasy at all. Been here twice this week for there Gluten Free fish and chips. Food was spot on. They even do gluten free pineapple fritters and gf potato fritters. Definitely be coming back, when I'm down this way again.. It's a Thumbs up from me 👍🙂
