Durham Ox in Erewash

Absolutely fantastic 3 course meal, every course was just WOW! So many different flavours and so well presented and music to your tastebuds. I recommend this place to anyone for the delicious food, presentation and really friendly staff. Could not fault in anyway and will definitely be returning.

This place is a hidden gem,we went here for a 60th birthday meal,there were thirteen of us in total and they accommodated us perfectly, yes we ordered our meals in advance and we weren't disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much for them. My partner had the fillet steak and I had the ribeye,they we're cooked perfectly to our liking and I would go as far as saying this was one of the best meals I've ever had,the deserts were beautiful as well. Trust me,this place is lovely and we'll definitely be go back there shortly. Great place!

Another fantastic Xmas dinner at the Durham Ox. Outstanding effort by the whole team. The pub looked lovely with its Xmas decorations and such friendly, welcoming service. The dinner was sublime, especially the goats cheese crème brûlée, which was outstanding (please, please, please put this on the normal menu) and the pana-cotta (wife said it was the best desert she has ever had). Thanks again guys for making it a Xmas dinner to remember. See you next Xmas, and a few times in between of course 👍

Been going here for years. This is an incredible place, the food is the best I have eaten, proper home cooked food with good portions. New owners are lovely and were long term customers previously so they have improved little areas inside and out, but have not changed any of the areas that have always worked well.Keep it up, because me Jade and Oscar dog love coming 👍🏼👍🏼

Wow first visit and very impressed with the menu and tasty food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere, a little more expensive than your average pub food but it wasn't like your usual pub food! Will definitely visit again.

We booked a table for a family celebration and we weren't disappointed. The food was first class; beautifully cooked and presented. One of our party was vegan and the waitress went above and beyond even putting together a starter not on the menu - thank you so very much. Such efficient, friendly and helpful staff made our evening one to remember! Thank you again to all the staff.

From start to finish was made to feel so welcome. Was sat at a nice table and our drinks order was taken. Within minutes we had our drinks. Very fast service.My wife and i both ordered the Roast Lamb and this also came out very fast and extremely hot and tasted so good. A great menu with plenty of choice, the food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. My partner and I had a lovely evening with the staff who were very attentive to your requirements. We have certainly recommended to our friends.

Thank you so much to Lauren and colleagues for a fantastic meal on 9 October. Our family of 10 enjoyed delicious, well presented food. Menu choices to suit everyone. Steaks were amazing as was the Derbyshire lamb! I would definitely recommend a visit to this friendly restaurant.
