Johnnys Fish Bar in Erewash

Without a doubt this is the best Fish and chips for miles. We travel miles to choose fresh takeaway from here. It's always busy, the staff are always polite and efficient and I just LOVE the fish. So much to choose from on the menu, Chips are always delicious and certainly fresh.

Great selection of chip shop food for all; chips/fish/sausages/burgers/kebabs etc. Service was good for a busy Friday night. Food quality was average

Lovely fish (good size & white inside), freshly cooked, good chip portions. I can recommend the Kebabs, jumbo sausages & the battered mushrooms.

Not the best chippy but for the price it’s absolutely fine. Just wish I knew the secret to being able get salt and vinegar on my chips! Only place I’ve been to where they don’t ask you (although I’ve seen some people asked?) so we took to asking when we ordered to make sure there’s s&v, they say they will, then we get home and they haven’t put any on ☹️

I always enjoy my kebabs from this place, but tonight I fancied something lighter. I decided to have a chicken burger instead. It came in a really nice cob, with all the salad and mayo. It was far better than anything the big restaurants would throw at you. Great price and friendly service too. Thank you. See you next time. 😊👍

Best fish and chips in Ilkeston. The go to place. Great food and friendly staff.

The food is really good , tried their battered mushrooms , oh my goodness , they was huge , but tasted so nice , I couldn't finish my them off , to many , the staff was brilliant , I look forward to going there again for food

There are fish and chip shops and then there is Johnny's. Simply the best in Ilkeston. Whether you are after fish and chips or a kebab then johnny's is the place to visit can not be beaten. Always freshly cooked with friendly staff. There is large selection to choice from
