Marble Chinese Takeaway in Erewash

Just had meal delivered and it was the worst ever after using these guys for over 30yrs.

This as to be the best Chinese in Ilkeston the food is spectacular so fresh I recommend to everyone !!

Usually the food is fabulously but tonight iv ordered the chicken chow main with chip n a beef curry with egg fried rice the food was appalling chicken chow main was very salty n the beef curry wasnt even spicy it was more like a sweet n sour wont be ordering again

Ordered our food for the whole family literally 6 minutes after they had opened on a Saturday evening and was told that it would be with us in 50 mins which initially I thought was quite a long time just due to them not long being open but never the less I was ok,however after an hour and a half had passed I decided to ring them and ask them where my order was,simple yes,oh no I rang there number over 100 times trying to get an answer,eventually someone answered and I was told that it had just left the shop with there drive,when I asked what and why had it taken so long I was told they had a driver ring in sick now I'm ok with the answer but they took all my details and no one rang me to tell me of the delay.i don't think I will use them again just because there was no communication.it was nearly 2 hours before we got our food I had to give my children something else because we had waited so long for it to arrive that they were asking for me to give them something else to eat so once we got our food which was meant for all the family I had to throw away half of it.Just shocking...

On Saturday 21at november I rang for a delivery which i have done most Saturdays for the past 3 months this was at 1805 I was told it would be 45-50 mins at 2010 I rang to see where my order was only to be told it's not been started yet I didn't get any kind of apology I said I would never order from them again and still no apology yes I understand they might be busy but 2 hours and my order had not been started by the time it arrived at 2140 I was still fuming and gone past being hungry after doing a 10 hour shift

Fantastic chinese the best anywhere , yes sometimes you might have to wait a while but it's a small family run business so what do you expect ? But boy when they arrive well worth the wait BEAUTIFUL !!!

Food is great wont order from anywhere else prices r fair and good meal quantity.. very polite on telephone when ordering.. fast delivery food still hot 👌

I had to wait for my food 1hr and 50 mins and got told 45 in the beginning. When they came the food was warm not hot and I still got charged full price even after the wait. I have used marble quite a few times and I am very dissdisappoi with the service tonight.

I have been eating here for around 15 years plus, it's the best Chinese and English food, quality every time always hot, great service and friendly staff would never go anywhere else!! Would 100% recommend.
