Mundy Arms Pub in Erewash

Had a fantastic meal here with the family. There were 9 of us in total including a toddler. The staff were really helpful and friendly on arrival and throughout the meal. Food was served quickly, arrived hot and all together. Food was lovely as well and plenty of it. Also had a dessert which was really nice and a good sized portion. My husband had the sponge pudding and there was plenty of custard with it. No tiny portions. Really good value for money. Overall really impressed and will be returning again.

Excellent and very friendly service. Superb food. Steak was cooked perfectly and very well presented. Booked again for next week!

We had a really nice meal with minimal waiting time for the food to arrive at the Table and the Staff were really nice too. Well done everyone see you again soon .

We have been here a few times including the Christmas Fayre, the food has always been beautiful and the staff are amazing especially Gina, that lady is a star, she is always happy and smiling and goes out of her way to make sure your evening is just perfect so a special thanks to Gina. Brilliant value for money and excellent staff xx

Great place to have a good time with your friends and family. The restaurant never stops with new menus and great food. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and courteous. Must come and experience it or you'll be missing a great day out in a great place.Highly recommended for great food, professionalism, cleanliness, value for money. Just brill.

This rating is a shame as I go here quite regular and never had a problem. We were looking forward to a birthday meal for my Grandma on boxing day, my sister booked in October with Tina and paid the deposit for 11 people. We all chose our meals before hand so they could be ordered in for the day. We got there at 2:15 and were told there was no booking. Tina was there and was adamant she did not take the booking but her name was on the receipt and my sister recognised her from paying the deposit. We had to wait around for half an hour while they tried to find us a table, bearing in mind my Grandma is 86 and can't stand for long periods of time. Eventually, our booking was found as it was on a different system (maybe just have one system?!) we sat down at the table at around 2:50. The staff member said the capacity was 210, they had overbooked and had to seat 260. Sorry, not our problem! Again, our food order was not found so we had to wait longer for this to be sorted. When they did find the order, one of the meals was out of stock so had to choose something else - not ideal when it was pre-ordered months before. We waited a further hour for our food to arrive, despite other tables arriving after us and getting their food before us. By this point we were ready to walk out but was told we wouldn't get our deposit back if we did! Unbelievable! The young waiter had to break the news that the majority of our desserts were also out of stock, like I said above, how can this happen when we have pre-booked our meals?! We decided to leave the puddings and get the bill, no discount was offered, and an insincere apology from the staff. My Grandma's birthday was ruined. We will not be returning any time soon!

Just had crown of burgers and 12 oz 28 day matured steak. Both were cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. The service was also excellent. Would highly recommend.

I can not deny this it the best pub restaurant I ever been !!!! I ordered a newyork chicken strip with salad and so impressed with the result as a ageing person in my middle age I have had more hot dinners than Rooney and I got to say it is the best cooked chicken I ever had better than Ramsey I say. Fresh salad and I aint a fan of barque sauce yet now from trying thiers there no comparison to any other so enjoyable and say that I came here on my own I left felt comfortable by the lovely chatty staff and locals music playing into the garden area chilling atmosphere drinks offers 2 for a fiver on shots cocktails all sorts to choose from the food menu caters for all from mix grills to fish and chips and by the food I just tried I can't wait to go back and taste the rest that on offer !!!! The puddings and starters plus sides even baguettes, so what ever mood your in if it a quick jacket potatoes with toppings or soup they got it all at a great prices and friendly services, couldn't believe how fast my meal turned up no messing around here. You can download the app greenking and order your food ect for take away aswell that a bonus !!! So if your in the local are I highly recommend that if you want a beautiful cook dinner better dare I say than my own mother this is the place it sooooo good that I feel like I want to leave if it weren't for my.dog.buddy waiting for me at home because it to hot.at the moment to take.him out. I would off lol 😆 the tunes played here im loving it next time when it cooler my buds is coming with me and having a meal himself in the garden area as it also outdoor eating aswell, smokers and dogs welcome in outdoor seating area with also TV screen outdoors.

Mundy Arms is one of our locals. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. We usually book a table ahead as it can get fully booked quickly, but you can do that easily online on the morning you want to go of you are not fussy on the time. The food is always cooked well and tasty, one of the few pubs in this chain who knew how to cook the "Vegan Fish Fillets" properly. It is reasonably priced for what you get and offer a good varied menu with daily deals. Only problem is, is that I rarely have room for pudding!

It's years since I last came here, and I can firmly say that it is even better now than it was then. Better parking, nice outdoor area, extensive seating and bar areas. The staff are excellent, polite, friendly, professional and they make you feel welcome. The service was spot on and the food was lovely. I met a friend here for lunch and we had a great time catching up. Definitely a place that I would recommend people try.
