Oakfield farm in Erewash

Fab cafe. Lovely food, great service and a great farm shop. I live locally and didn't even know this place was here until recently. What a hidden gem

First visit for breakfast. Cafe very nice and tables well spaced. The meals and staff couldn't be faulted. Looking forward to trying the Sunday lunch in the near future.

Excellent just called in for a snack,and had their pancakes with fruit with a pot of tea

Amazing fresh flavoursome food. Been for both breakfast and Sunday dinner. Staff are polite and excellent. The atmosphere is perfect and relaxing. Definitely give it a visit.

We went here to see what is was like we where a but confused where the café was but when we found it it was a stunning eco-friendly building when we walked in the staff were very nice and greeted us. the tables were massive wooden eco-friendly. The food we ordered was a high standard and very nice it was a great experience. The staff were nice as well. Just one thing.... They need to make it stand out more it was a hidden gem.

Early breakfast on the way to Armstrongs Mill. Enjoyable visit, nice brekkie menu, but a bit precious when I asked for bacon n egg on toast instead of a cobb. Rather disappointed when they said NO. As all ingredients were on the menu didn't make sense. However it didn't detract from the good service and quality produce. Farm shop attached which looked interesting.Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

I regular visit the cafe weekly with my sisters, today visited the cafe with one of my sisters and elderly mother (73), we ordered drinks and sat outside as my sister had brought her dog, there was one other family using the outside seating area, after a while my father arrived as a surprise to check our mum was OK as been ill, two waitresses did come to my father but as we were nearly finishing our drinks checked if it was OK if he seated with us till the rest of us were ready to leave she said yes, upon leaving lady with short grey hair and glasses approached my father and said that the owners requested that he didn't take up the seat if not ordering , my father explained that he had already asked the waitress if it was OK to sit with us if not he would leave she replied yes, he also stated that it wasn't busy outside only one other family using outside seating area , I am outraged that your member of staff thought this was acceptable. In response I want to clarify a couple of things, not once did any member of my party verbally abuse any member of staff. We were polite and courteous at all times . My father was approached twice by two different waitresses and offered to leave if waiting for us was causing any problem , both times he was told absolutely fine. If at any point the dog (a 6mth old puppy) did jump up he was quickly corrected and supervised at all times.

Excellent food and service. Great friendly service, quick turn around with food order and great value. It great to see local business who grow, produce their food and use not only in their cafe but their food shop. Hats off to both Andrew, Karen and their team here at Oakfield farm. Well definitely be back

Wonderful quality food in a superb setting. May 21just been to Oakfield Farm , not been for a while due to the pandemic. Just as nice , food excellent (Steak and Ale Pie) and a really good Flat White Coffee. Will be returning soon.
