Plank & Leggit in Erewash

Took a group in for lunch, the staff were excellent and very helpful. The food was cooked really nice and tasted lovely. Would definitely recommend

Worst pub I've ever been too it doesn't deserve a 1*It was the coldest pub I've ever been too where we had been seated, we asked to be moved to be warmer part of the pub and they sat us near the front door which was even colder that I had to put my coat back on. I got a sarcastic comment off the lady behind the bar "are you cold & then started to laugh. The food was shocking cold, lasagne was that burnt it had to be sent back. The lady behind the bar was coughing all over everything and not covering her mouth. We went for my granddaughters 2nd birthday and was very disappointed!!!

I had the vegetarian breakfast and large latte. I was impressed with the place and it was easy to get to. Would Defo go back.

Loved the chicken and waffles. Wife wasn't keen on the steak - why only rump on the menu? Staff nice and friendly.

The Plank and Leggit at Sawley was our destination for our morning breakfast and we was greeted very friendly by there staff.The breakfast was very filling and hot and the waitress was very helpful with our requirements,Thank you Kathleen

Food was not enjoyable at all, kids meals looked like they'd been served up yesterday and cold! Husband had chicken and waffles, we had to send this back due to it being cold - 2nd one came out was much better.I had steak smothered sizzler and I honestly think I dislocated my jaw the steak was that chewy and full of fat. Didn't eat it. Sent back to the kitchen. Refund given for steak.Will not be returning. Very disappointed.

Visited yesterday and was incredibly disappointed. The whole place was very dirty and run down. My daughter spilt a bit of water and when i wiped it up with a napkin it came back black. The food served was cold and ky husband said he would rather have eaten a McDonalds it was so bad and he hates McDonalds. The staff were friendly enough but one members of staff had a massive coughing/gagging fit and then did not wash or gel her hands. It was very expensive for what it was and we certainly wont be going back. On a positive note the TV screens on each table with Cbeebies on for children was a good idea

Hungry horse plank and leggit friendly staff and very quiet pub restaurant.table wasn't set up with cutlery vefore food arrived.when the food came to us in quick time it was not piping hot it was only luke warm really, tasted ok. Me and son had the crown burger which I think was thrown together and loads of chips shoved on top a little fernece would a long way. MY Wife had the curry. Poppadoms tasted very earthy water and where not cooked fully, mango chutney lacking flavour.chicken tikka malasla a very small portion and loads of rice chips and poppadoms to fill the plate with a naan bread on top.Could be so much better!! from other hungry horse we have been to. Waitress was very friendly at the end of our meal.

Again, amazing staff at this branch.Management seemed on point, even covering sharp corners of tables while distracted parents let their children attempt a concussion. Seriously, if he hadn't put his fingers in the way, that little girl would've had a dent in her skull. Kitchen doing absolutely everything they can with the ingredients they're provided and the rest of the staff on par.Very clean environment, with reasonable prices.

Really enjoyed our meal at the Plank & Leggit. Staff where friendly and efficient, food excellent value. Desserts very yummy
