9/4/2022 ordered fish and chips, fish was still frozen inside, 3 weeks before ordered a chip cob, the cob was mouldy.Poor standards.

·

Lovely pub great staff and a varied menu all at fair prices Would highly recommend to friends and family very dog friendly a bonus

·

Stopped in at the pub to wet the whistle and grab something to eat whilst exploring the village of Dale Abbey. The staff were very friendly and much to my relief they did offer a vegan option.A moving mountains burger, chips, beans and corn.Food was great and reasonably priced. As with many old English pubs it has some great architectural features, exposed beams, fireplace etc. Will definitely pop in again if in the area.

Nice place for a drink and open fire. Good service. Food is sadly very basic. Sad really as the burgers are clearly just very cheap quality. Cooked fine but if you start on off very cheap it's hard to dress that up as more. They need to spend more more money on ingredients. Also noticed the pies that look like they are 50p and frozen from Aldi!

Great food and relaxed quiet. Can't beat a warm fire and good beer. Nice to see they allow campers over night too

·

Absolutely amazing food and fantastic friendly staff. Always make a fuss of there guests. All home cooked food and deserts. Absolutely amazing. Only get the chance to go when visiting family. Had to show these deserts was amazing and really good priced. 👍

I like it here. I really should come more often but for some reason I don't. I came here this time for the classic car meet and I would have spent longer but I had a busy schedule. Anyway it's always pleasant with decent beer and food. You can't really go wrong.

Nice pub with great surroundings. The food and drinks are reasonably priced in a lovely atmosphere. The staff are great. Carpark is big and there is eating tables outside for the warmer days. Within walking distance of the Hermits Cave. They do have WiFi and entertainment, see one of the pictures to see what's on

The Carpenters Arms in Dale Abbey is a lovely friendly pub in a picturesque village. Good service and lots of outdoor seating. The food menu was good but not fantastic. On the cheaper side for a generic pub, but the portion sizes were on the more average side rather than plentiful. However the surrounding area is beautiful and there is plenty of parking.
