Cracking pub. Landlord is a true legend and very welcoming. The carvery served on a Sunday is amazing and the portion sizes are great. Can’t recommend this place enough.

First time in here. Had the carvery, the veg was ok. My vegan option was delicious. The veg tart was the best I have ever had. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice place, friendly staff, always something going on such as entertainment, fireworks, weddings ect. Area for children also, decent price booze.

We are currently without a kitchen at home so have been eating out a lot. We rang to book and were accommodated for a carvery. We weren't disappointed! Everything cooked to perfection. Staff were exceptional. Cant believe we haven't eaten here before! Thank you for your hospitality and we will be back soon!

Sunday carvery, even though we had the last sitting there was plenty of meat and a full selection of vegetables available. Red Velvet cheesecake for desert 😋.

Had our Christmas party here. The meal was beautiful couldn't fault it. Staff were superb. A really great night. Fully recommend this place

My family and I came here for the Christmas party and had the Sunday carvery before hand there were 10 of us altogether including a very fussy eater, the chef and staff accommodated the fussy eater despite only doing the carvery on a Sunday by cooking sausage and chips.The food was lovely, turkey was lovely and moist and everything was delicious, we also had desserts which were also very tasty. The Christmas party was fantastic the children loved the winter wonderland, and meeting Santa, the disco and fake snow was brilliant, highly recommended

Superb food! My hat goes off to the chef. Honestly one of the best chicken dishes I've ever tasted. A few incidents occurred with staff spilling drinks and nudging a young boy in the head with their elbow. Also fix your sign...

We went for lunch here, service was fine, staff friendly however we had an issue with hygiene. The food was nice, tasty and good portions but I found two hairs in my food, I have reported it to waitress but when I got my dessert I have found another two. Also plates and cutlery could be washed better. Toilets were clean. Nice outside sitting area and playground for children. Could be super pub as it has lots if space however the hygiene standards in kitchen must be improved. I would give 5 stars if not these issues.
