The Trent Lock in Erewash

Staff friendly, ambience nice although needed to get attention to get any service. Waited an hour for food after chasing the staff for meal. When food came, daughters food was nice, but the three meat carvery me and my wife got was cold to luke warm, the "crackling" wasn't existent and the turkey was dry.

Great place for a long dog walk towards Attleborough nature reserve. It’s a 12 km walk a nice pub at the end for a pint.

First time visiting Trent Lock Pub Restaurant. Enjoyed it, very pleasant staff, some good choice of beers and the House Burger with the Brisket Beef was lovely. It was a Saturday and it was busy so had a bit of a wait for the food. Wasn't a problem for me but If needed Proactive staff could advise customers up front of any issues. But like anywhere you go at popular periods it's worth asking about time if in a rush.Overall, I enjoyed it and will be going back.

Nice location. Pub was cold. Plenty of nice friendly staff. Beef brisket sandwich was very nice. The fish finger sandwich not so good value skimpy on the fish and the ciabatta bread was very dry. Fries nice. Menu a bit pricey for a pub.

Been a few times now and has always been great food and top class service! We turned up spontaneously without a reservation and despite being busy, the staff were more than accommodating! Will defo be back again at some point!

We spent a lovely afternoon here by the fire. The ambiance is lovely and relaxed. Dogs are welcomed, with a doggy treat station and bowls of water available. We hadn't brought our dog with us though... Next time, maybe.Bar service was quick and attentive and a round of alcoholic drinks for three adults and soft drinks and crisps for two kids, cost less than £20. Bargain!We'd parked up by Cranfleet Lock but hadn't realised that this car park was really for residents only, so managed to get ourselves locked in! Luckily a resident soon let us out... So be warned! 🤣We're definitely going to be doing this little jaunt again... But maybe we'll leave the van at home next time and just walk there.

We had the roast beef and the pork and they were cooked to Perfection. I had the eaton mess for pudding and there was loads so I took some home! The staff are lovely but the service was a bit slow, we waited ages for our drinks. Nice to get 10% NHS discount too,especially after being at work all weekend.

Lovely place the Landlady is so warm and welcoming. The menu has a fabulous selection of food. Fantastic outdoor seating area, undercover too. It's also dog friendly and has a water and treat station for your furbabies. Highly recommend it. Also if your a boater like me you can moor up on the door step for 3 days 🙂. Fantastic place.

Very nice restaurant for a nice dinner, amazing wait and bar staff. This might be for an occasion meal, or you can sit in the garden and have a meal from the garden menu that is abit more budget friendly. Grate on summer evenings.

Lovely place to visit. Warm welcome. Food excellent. Meal was lovely and tasty. Can even bring your dog. Outdoor seating.
