Great night out bottom of the pub quiz. Excellent meals for 2, steak and ale pie and scampi. And cherry bakewell and sticky toffee pudding to die for. Nice well kept surroundings clean and very friendly staff. Many thanks to Nicola who made us really at home and welcome.

Came here last Friday evening 21,01,2022 bar staff were great and helpful with my order as I have a son with food allergies. Atmosphere was great and food was delicious nice and hot. Thanks to Gina waitress too lovely women 😀 also a very nice place to relax and have a few drinks.

Attentive staff. Quick easy order system via the Green King app. Drinks served b4 food arrived. Food nice and hot. Plenty of the condiments you would want for your meal. Enjoyable lunchtime venue

well what can I say we popped into the bowman last night for the wings deal and I have to say the service was second to none. Nicola, our server could have not been more attentive, checking to see if food was ok a cheery disposition she seemed genuinely happy to be at work ! Will definitely be in again thanks Nicola !

Excellent visit . From walking in to leaving we were highly satisfied. The staff were most welcoming and helpful . Also very cheery and polite Caroline was exceptionally helpful with any queries. Her service was 1st class.Food was excellent with great presentation and price satisfactory.Would definitely visit again.Well done The Bowman, Hucknall

Great cute ground floor room in a Courtyard. Very reasonable price (£36) Meal in the pub that night was also lovely. We were the last ones in, but nobody rushed us out. Will definitely be back again when visiting family.

First time staying at a Green King hotel and we were very pleased with it. Plenty of free parking and upon arrival received a pleasant welcome by the receptionist. The layout of the rooms were a little different. Definitely gave a feel of a motel but not in a bad way. Actually quite liked how it appeared. The room we had was very spacious for the 3 of us. Beds were comfortable and we all had a lovely night's sleep. Went into the pub for breakfast and again it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff and the food was really good. Would definitely recommend this place.

Main meal was lovely, staff are friendly a little bit disappointed with dessert added photos. Ones are on menu and others are what we got , they where nice.

Decent food only lost one star for not a very large meat portion I felt like they were trying to turn me vegan plus the plate was flooded with instant gravy. The service was good. Mens toilets were flooded when I visited and there was no warning sign.

Definitely getting a 5* from me. It's the cheapest hotel I've ever stayed in because I knew I wasn't going to spend much time in the room because I had booked things to do around the area while visiting family but oh my! This is well worth a visit. I paid £60 for me and my 2 children (that included breakfast) the room was clean and fairly big. The beds were comfy! The shower was powerful and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We all slept really well and the safety chain on the door made me feel really secure being as though I was alone with my two children. The next day my Auntie joined me for breakfast for £7.95 and it was delicious. Most of us had a full English and we could get orange juice, fruit, crumpets, yogurts, cereal and croissants from the counter if we wanted them which was handy as my oldest son ordered a bacon sandwich and didn't want it after half (typical child) so he had a muffin and a orange instead. I will 100% stay here again when I visit my family. A well spent £60! Thank you The Bowman Hotel.
