Excellent food and drinks with friends. Attentive service from staff. A little bit noisy to talk as the evening progressed..probably due to adhoc fri night drinkers at the bar. Otherwise would have stayed longer ...😕

A top notch restaurant/cafe bar that has a lovely ambiance and pleasant decor. The menu is tempting & choice to suit most.

An initial booking for 12 people which turned into a booking for 18! The communication and customer beforehand was brilliant. Even when i kept on adding numbers to the initial booking it was no problem at all for them.Upon arrival we were very quickly seated and drinks orders placed. Water was even already at the table!The food was excellent and even when a member of the party did nor like their dish it was not a problem changing it for something else.I just want to thank all the staff for the great service received today. i would highly recommend this place and cannot wait to return!

Are you a pub or restaurant??? Was expecting a relaxed meal with friends but the place was rammed with rowdy drinkers and had to shout to be heard by my friend across the table, food was dry and the oil clearly needed changing. When I told the waitress I hadn't enjoyed my experience she showed no interest. I've been eating here for years but I won't be going again.

Awful customer service (manager Jack)Appalling customer service, Rude Manager, don’t go…We ordered afternoon tea (scones and a hot drink) drinks which arrived within 10 minutes at which point we asked how long the scones would take and were told they come separately from the kitchen but shouldn’t be long a further 15 minutes later I had to ask again where scones were , the waitress went to find out and eventually they arrived.So at this point we now had cold drinks!I explained to the waitress that we’d had to wait so long our drinks were cold and couldn’t we have a hot top up.She was lovely said keep your existing drinks and she’d get us some fresh drinks.It was then with much embarrassment that the waitress came back to inform us that her manager (Jack) had said if we wanted our drinks to come with our scones WE SHOULD ASK FOR THIS WHEN ORDERING ?!? And because we had drank half our drinks (obviously we didn’t anticipate such a long delay) we COULD NOT have any more ?I agreed if ordering a main meal , asking for drinks at the same time , was perhaps true ( at a push)but for an afternoon tea ( as it states on the menu ) is a hot drink and scone , we should not have a ask for these to arrive together, she went on the say the kitchen was short staffed and apologised.I pointed maybe we should have been informed about this when we arrived and we couldn’t of been mindful of this when ordering.I asked to speak with her manager and was informed he was busy preparing drinks ! And wouldn’t come to discuss anything with us .So when leaving I asked him if he thought he had provided good customer service , he said I could see it was very busy ( which I couldn’t as I was upstairs) and he felt his decision was justified .I think he was busy, understaffed and he made a poor decision and if he’d been honest it would of been better, as it is I will never be going here again and I will make sure I tell everyone else I know not to bother , just awful……

Lovely evening , a few dishes not available as a new menu was due next day . Would have been better to make this obvious before we tried to order. We had a few starters and they were amazing. Waiters should let you know there is a generous amount of salad with the starters as we ordered salad we didn't need . Definitely will go again as all in all it was lovely

Lovely light lunch in the fresh air out the back with a dear friend. Served by the lovely (Amy) - hope that was her name! Fantastic menu from sandwich and scone to Halloumi wrap complete with a great coffees. Can't recommend this place high enough. Will be back again!

Really nice atmosphere, to be honest the food was only okay. I had the steak sandwich and it was a bit dry and overcooked and the burger was dry too.However, it's a great place inside and the staff were excellent. We'll go again, maybe the chef was just having an off day!

Lovely meeting up with a friend We had cheese on toast and sausage all done very professionally wil go again for a treat.

Food is good. Service not so goodCoopers is lovely. The food is really good. We went for breakfast. You would think after the pandemic , the hospitality sector wants to get people in and give them a good service. That was not the case today. I felt like I bothered the waitress, she was not bothered to work there. No smile just not interested. Really a shame. If you work in hospitality you have to be cut out for it. Coopers staff is unfortunately not. Really a shame. After paying 80 pounds you would think people go the extra mile. I won’t be going again
