The GOLDEN PHOENIX. WE Phoned around 6 pm and was booked a table straight away we arrived and got seated. We was then asked to place our order straight away which all in all was a really good starter service. We then got our refreshments and then went to the buffet the range of food was endless cooked to perfection except the salt and pepper chips which to me was really soggy and the chow mien was disappointing the pudding selection varied and was great for the kids all in all for the price of £88 for a family of 6 was well worth the journey. The calm relaxing atmosphere and of course the great food. 👍🏽🍗🥘🍛🍝

Doesn’t even deserve one star!!!!Cold, bland food that leaves a nasty after taste and has upset our stomachs.Had one measly plate of food between 2 of us if that for £18.99 per person. Which alone is very expensive for this type of all you can eat.Staff stare at you whilst eating which is very of putting. We were told on way out by the manger that this place is highly recommended, which we thought looking at other reviews it would have been. Certainly not the case! We were told we shouldn’t have put so much food on our plates, normally we’d fill them as we love this type of cuisine. It seems she gives the same excuse to anyone that complains, as she’s very incompetent and doesn’t have clue what to do if someone is to complain. We managed to get a discount of £10 (think it should have been more due to amount of goods consumed) which we put towards a takeaway pizza which we’d said should have bought in the first place. Will not be rushing back here and definitely not recommend it to anyone. But if you like bland, tasteless, overpriced food then this might just be the place for you.

Nice, comfortable place, good seating... the menu is extensive and well presented, food is fantastic, good quality and value for money. Staff are polite, helpful and friendly.

Been here a few times and it’s been absolutely lovely. Fresh food on the buffet, lovely customer service and very clean. Can’t complain.

Tried here for the first time, the lady that got our drinks ( unfortunately did not get her name) was lovely and very attentive, the food was delicious and was decently priced I would defi recommend going/trying here. I will definitely be going back again 😊

Got taken here for first time couple of months ago by friends . We've been another 2 times since that. Loved every visit so much better to go here than order in. Lots and lots of choice included crispy duck and our favourite teriyaki steak made fresh . 😋We've visited with kids and on first time we're told to make sure kids don't waste which is fine because they can get overly excited and get lots but we told them little at a time . But they've been able to try new foods. My only issue is the height restriction for childrenI have very tall children and my 8 is way past the 140cm so all mine pay adult prices and couldn't use the Thursday children eat free. The strawberry ice is delicious and the other puds are just Iceland specials . Definitely plan on going again .

Very clean food area and the food is lovely however, NOT child friendly. If your baby isn't eating take your pushchair otherwise you will be charged £3-£4 (depending how they feel - we were originally told £4 then it was changed to £3) for your baby to sit in the restaurants highchair that hasnt been thoroughly cleaned. Also if your baby happens to steal a chip off your plate and the manager sees you will be charged for them to eat! My baby started crying ONCE when I passed him to his father whilst I ate and we were told to take him in the garden to quieten him or just take him for a walk several times by the manager...it seemed there was zero tolerance for babies who actually sometimes cry! Toilets were fine but no toilet paper in one. Only given 3 stars because the food was nice but for £17.99 per head and to be constantly watched and told how to manage my baby who had only made noise once, it is not worth it and unfortunately I will not be visiting again or recommending to any families with small children.

Like school dinner hall. To busy and very very slow service for drinks. Some of the Food was ok I guess but really badly set up. Didn't even know till after we had eaten you could have things cooked to your liking if asked. We've had much much better Chinese elsewhere (I wont mention where out of respect) Was impossible to park to. Overall experience was disappointing considering we were there from a recommendation. Wont be returning again.

Highly disappointed with the service we received I brought family there as we would be regular users and the service given was terrible to the point my family member who had come from abroad has stated they would never go back if visiting again. Constantly watched while eating our food the children were not welcomed at all. To the point a family member got asked by managers to go walk the baby outside to stop them crying absolutely out of order considering babies cry. Very very disappointed with the service we received and unfortunately will not recommend again and certainly will not return again. Very let down. 2 stars considering food was great but we got rushed out the door so couldn't truly enjoy it.
