A lovely venue for my daughters baby shower. A good time was had by all.

·

Lovely pub, always clean and the food is really nice. In a great location.

·

Quaint pub in a picturesque village, about as much as you can say as the outside doesn't tell the story on the inside, unwelcoming staff who looked like they didn't want to be there.

·

High recommended, love their home cooked Sunday lunches and real ale. A must visit if you in the area

Lovely country pub, modern interior but not lost any character. Good selection of real ale.

A pretty pub in a gorgeous village and as we were staying nearby, we were looking forward to an evening meal there.Checked online but no menu however a good description of homecooked food, sourced locally. Sounded just up my street, decent English pub grub. The pub was warm and cosy and the beer and wine were both very good. However, the food was such a let down. A bog standard permanent menu and an empty specials board. However, we decided to order anyway and were utterly disappointed. The only thing fresh was the garnish on the burger. Everything else was from the freezer to the fryer and was so far from the description on the website as to be unrecognizable. We left around half of the food as it was not appetising or cooked well. Please change ypur website to a nore accurate description of ypur food or improve the food!

Lovely rustic pub, in a beautiful little village. Food was fresh, homemade and tasty. The young lady that waited on us was lovely. I would highly recommend this lovely little place. My husband stumbled upon it whilst out on a walk with our son. Our 2 meals and 3 drinks came to just over £30, so not expensive either. Thank you Horse and Groom for a lovely date night with my husband.

Overpriced terrible food... Jaw breaking sourdough "garlic bread", and very poor yet expensive Brisket that was tough and chewy as clearly rushed rather than soft and moist. No steak knives provided either. And as for the chips... Looked and tasted like they had been under hot lights for hours. Mash was the best bit of the meal. Avoid this place like the plague.

Love our local village pub and I’m sure many of us miss you! It’s not just a pub to many when in a village, it’s has a different social impact that I’m sure has affected many.A welcoming place for the single old chap that may live on his own and pops by to have a little chat and a pint and maybe his dog. Many people pop in on their own as always feel welcome. I Warm and friendly atmosphere and lovely and cosy when the fire is burning. The tier system that has no sense to me , having to eat and not just have a pint for that sweet old man is not getting him out the house to socialise with the only people he might see. It’s such a shame that a village pub has been scrutinised and classed the same as city bustling bar with young people partying. From what I see and all places I’ve been to from bars to restaurant’s to hairdressers etc they have all been safe with the right measures taken into place throughout this Covid situation. It baffles me that a village pub is in their 3 yet a city pub in London in tier 2!!!!!! Unbelievable !!!!!!Hope to return soon 🍺🍷🐶🐶👍🙏🏻
