Jerk kitchen in Gedling

Called in at 8.55pm on a Tuesday evening (5minutes before they shut) after a soul destroying ikea trip. Welcoming & friendly, no huffing or puffing that they were about to close the door.X2 box meals ordered. Food was unreal, fresh juicy chicken, rice was fresh, home made coleslaw was perfect. 10/10 service

Absolutely disgusting!! Don't live near this place but travelled to collect food for my family got home and part of the order was missing rang the store to be told I can get them next time I go there!! Won't be a next time!!

Just what the doctor ordered. Highly recommended. Foods great. Pleasant staff. What's not to love about this place. One minor, critic, the food is a tad spicy, but tastes great all the same. 5 stars from me 😎💙

We wish we lived closer! We were staying in our caravan and decided to try a take away from here - it was brilliant. 2 meal boxes, 1 with jerk chicken the other with mutton curry, and rice and peas and coleslaw, with a side of callaloo. The food was all spiced wonderfully, and pretty spicy and the callaloo was a great counter to the rich meat and spicy rice. Great portion sizes as well. We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area.

Ordered the whole jerk chicken, rice n veg, had to wait for delivery for over an hour but this was ok as we expected this on a friday evening. The meal turned up piping hot, dished it out and stat down to enjoy as its awhile since we had something from here. To our horror the chicken spices where volcanic, absolutely inedible.....2 bites and mouththroat and stomack were on fire. That peed of i chucked it in the bin waste of £23. Really disappointed would recomend in batch tasting.

Ordered 2 box meal dishes with 2 additional jerk sauce pots, as we thought it might be a little dry. Food turned up in good time but realised the sauce was forgotten. Politely called straight after and asked what could be done and was told by a lady who answered the phone to hang on while they investigate. After being left on hold for 15 minutes we were then cut off!!! Thus the 1 Star for customer non service..what a real shame.

Food is okay but was luke warm despite eating as soon as I left, the girls serving completely ignored me for the first 5 minutes whilst I stood there despite there being no other customers, didn't even look up or acknowledge I was there. Place could do with a proper regular clean everywhere too.

£8.50 for this!!! Are u crazy or What ,3 chicken nug and few chips lol 😆, whoever the place is sticky and very dirty... they charging for plastic spun and furck £0.50 🤣 ,,, never c something like that before ,I'll not recommend u to the others good look in the future

Good taste, good variety, and very accommodating staff. Hearty portions too. Would love to go back and try some more things from the menu. But we live quite far away...we tried it as we were passing by and good Caribbean places are like gold dust in Nottingham.There was one minor issue with one of the dishes but given the point above there is/was no point raising it with the place as there would be nothing they could do.

Best Caribbean food you can get. It’s modern, tastes amazing and the staff are friendly. I would highly recommend trying this place, you’ll never look back.
