The layout means you can usually find a quiet table good for privacy for lunch meetings. Breakfast is really good value. Staff are helpful though they often seem short staffed. Sometimes food and hot drinks are too cold which really let's them down. I've stopped going there because of this.

Easy to book and easy to find. I was made welcome on my arrival and shown to my reserved table. My friends arrived and were also welcomed and shown to my table. The food arrived in good time and was delicious! We had fish & chips.

Great experience today. Arrived and was greated by staff and shown to my booked table (for 3). The time between ordering food and it being served was about 20 minutes. The food was delicious, fish and home made chips!!

If I could give NO STARS I would. Went on a Saturday afternoon- explained when ordering that on previous visits the food hasn't been hot, Not a problem they said we'll make sure it is this time. Well it wasn't at all, one of the meals chicken & mushroom pie had to go back. Three of the party decided to eat their meals while we waited for the fourth to be cooked again, 30 minutes later the same meal came back out of the kitchen having only been blasted in a microwave! Why we had to wait 30 minutes for this is beyond me, the meal was left! I complained to one of the staff members who wasn't sat around waiting for their own food to be served, money was given back for the one meal and vouchers to be used when we return, lets just say these vouchers won't be used as we won't be going back. Staff attitude was terrible- it was like we shouldn't have complained and they couldn't have been bothered to resolve the issue!! If you like cold hot food then please visit this pub, if not avoid

1st visit here. Popped in for a light lunch.my husband had a chicken n cheese baguette which was lightly toasted and was very nice served with a handful of proper home made chips but it was more than a handful just a few too many for my husband but he enjoyed his lunch. I had fish n chips off the lite bites menu and it was lovely white fresh fish in a light batter and just enough chips to make it a lite bite meal. Looking forward to visiting for an evening meal as the specials fish board looked amazing. Only criticism is as it's an old barn, a big open space it was cold but the mulled wine warmed me up.

Called here Ad Hok.We were Totally ignored at the bar as we walked in, even though no one else was there. We walked through to a second bar area where we asked a female about a table. She walked us back to the door and spoke to another female who then offered us to sit in an area which has a great big dog in !! It would be like eating in a kennel!!!I’m not being funny but a walk in couple, alone with no children in our company shouldn’t be offered a table in the play area and equally without dogs shouldn’t be offered to eat where there are dogs !!So it goes without saying. We didn’t stay and we didn’t recommend nor give a good review!!You get one attempt at making a first impression and you blew it !!

Lovely atmospheric farm building/ coaching house converted into a restaurant with bar with good variety of quality pub meals at reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff and to top it all off, on the day we visited, Theaksons Old Peculiar on draught! The Specials menu was a delight. It pleased everyone in our party; aged from 20s to 70s.

NOT FRESH FISH!!!!Why even bother to lie to people about “FRESH FISH”? When they serve you slimy, taste old fish.Husband surprised me on our anniversary YESTERDAY! Jan 20. He booked a BnB which is I’m so looking forward because I love fish and been eating fish my whole life as my father is fisherman. We arrived at the Larch Farm with friendly staff, let us sit in our table but left us just like that, we have waiting 15 minutes and no one asking us anything, until I got bored and asked the staff, they didn’t even explain that we have to go to bar to order foods and drinks (what a joke!) it’s not even busy!I’ve ordered larch farm sharing which is all deep fry chicken nuggets are great but the rest is like (finger food shop bought nothing special)Husband ordered sweet Chili sauce fish and salsa (not salsa at all!) it was plain salad with little bit dressing on top! Is arrive with half fish which have shop bought sweet Chili sauce on top, the fish is slimy and taste horrible but since we are so hungry and shops are quite far we’ve eaten it with feeling bad and hard to swallow, it comes with OLD dry plain boiled potato and when we cut it it’s quiet dark inside (so it’s obvious it has been reheated many times or old)So we asked why it’s not potato wedges as it said in the menu, so the potato wedge arrive but we couldn’t eat it anymore as we lose appetiteI’ve ordered fish and seafoods platter (as they said they serve FRESH FISH) so I expected its fresh! But no! It was from FROZEN!Other fish are like old and chewy and some are like AGAIN already made shop bought, the smoke fish was dry, the filo prawns bland and some fish smells funny, no one even ask how’s our food until time to clear our table so we explained our fish isn’t fresh at all and the staff just said “sorry about that” so that’s it? Lucky it’s our anniversary and we don’t want to ruin our night ,We booked breakfast but we decided to cancel it as we don’t want to expect it will be serve fresh aswellThe room it’s clean but it’s FREEZING COLD!Heater are on but not enough, the room has book few days before our arrival so it should be nice if they made a little bit of effort to heat the room before we arrive but instead we slept in cold room and no proper sleep at all!We will not recommend this place and we will not be coming back! Unless they change their Chef.Disgraceful amount for this night out £120!!!
