Lucky House in Gedling

Ordered food for valentines so we knew would be busy but after 2 hours to be told firstly 30 mins prior would be 10 mins and then another half an hour told come and pick it up in a further 30 mins with a hungry kid a not impressed Mrs we settled on maccys and cancelled our order.

Disgusting food first of all. Ordered some food and came after 2 hours and it was cold and tasteless. I had to take the food back and argued with the owner to get my money back and they even tried to attack me, which is the worst thing that happened. I only got some money back, never come here to have a good Chinese.

My food came really fast and really fresh Food. I just want to say the thank you to the to the boy who came to my house on a scooter because the delivery driver was ill definitely recommend :)

Had excellent salt & pepper chicken, very good salt & pepper chips and good fried rice. Will return if in the area.

Have to say really really good food.Doesn't look much from the outside, bit scruffy and could do with decent lick of paint inside.But food... I have to say the best I've had in years.Good value, tasted spot on and plenty of it.We had the set meal for 4 and ordered an extra sweet & sour chicken ball dish....plus chips!!!!!! ;)I have a thing recently when having chicken balls that they all seem to have the bleach taste to then. No, not at lucky House. They were how they should taste and how I remember them from years gone by.Now I've found a good Chinese I'll have no hesitation to go back.Also... Nice touch the free bottle of Pepsi Max.

Friendly service and thank you for the chef recommendation. Delivery arrived on time plus all dishes still piping hot and tasty 😋. Fair price and first class service 👍

Ordered for the first time ever from here tonight....was delighted i did!!! Food was red hot, delivered in about 45 minutes. Everything was delicious, will definitely be calling them again!! Thanks Lucky House staff! 😘👍🥂

Delivered far too quick to have been made fresh and the Kung Po chicken was spongy and awful only god knows what they did with that and that’s if it was even chicken? All I can say is it was damn awful and eating at lucky house helps with my diet as most of it goes in the bin. So forget slimming world or weight watchers and try the lucky house diet and if you’re really lucky you won’t get food poisoning. Lucky house is as about Chineese as McDonald’s but tastes even worse.

This small unassuming takeaway is an absolute hidden gem. Gorgeous piping hot food delivered so fast. We ordered food for 5 people on Saturday night and it arrived within 20 mins. Lots of fresh veg in light sauces. I recommend the ribs with pepper corn salt the meat falls of the bone. Yummy
