Pete’s Fish Bar in Gedling

Went for lunch as a business - this is my personal view, not the business - there wasn’t any burgers or kebab meat on at lunch time and the curry sauce has raisins in it (yes I know that’s common but it usually says “contains raisins” next to the curry sauce selection.) as this wasn’t mentioned I ordered sausage, chips and curry sauce… the sauce was all over the food with a load of raisins along with it. Ruined my appetite and mood as now I have nothing to eat and no more dosh for my lunch. Cheers 👍🏻

Move to the area some months ago. The fish and chips are the best in the area especially the potatoes fritters.

Lovely food, we recently moved to Ravenshead so we obviously gave the chip shop there a fair go, but unfortunately it’s not as good, at calverton you get lovely fresh food with good sized portions and our usual order is also £7 cheaper, worth travelling to.

Love Pete and Maggie always fantastic food and make sure my fussy husband gets his food exactly as he likes it
