Don't like leaving poor reviews, however this was the worst fish and chips I've tasted in years - thick, soggy batter covering slimy fish with dry, overcooked chips - everything had a stale oil taste. Peas were decent. Portion sizes decent - but not much good if the food ends up in the bin. Haven't tried the Chinese food. Real shame as we were looking forward to our tea

Excellent food, really tasty and filling, good portion sizes and really nice pancake rolls, proper chips and excellent value for money, plenty to go around and less than 20 pounds, meal for 2 with extra chips fed 3 adults and a toddler, best Chinese food I have had in a while

An update since it's been taken over. Months ago we had a Chinese delivery which was great. Tonight I decided to try the fish and chips. The fish batter, I'm sorry to say was thick, doughy and uncooked, however the chips were lovely and dry.

Great little fish and chip shop but the owner's have recently retired. Fish is always fresh and cooked to order and the chips are lovely and crisp. Let's just hope that the new ownership is as good as the previous.
