We have just had a meal delivered and it was awful. The food was cold, the curry was drowned in some kind of oil. The chow mien didn’t have any flavour and the beef and black bean sauce was extremely tasteless. We have always used summer palace for going in for meals and take always but after this meal I will not use them again.

The food is absolutely delicious but whatever you do don't expect the food to arrive when you ask it to arrive. If you order in advance for it to arrive at a certain time it will be at least 30-45 mins after the time you asked it to arrive. This has happened to me every time I order from here. Like I said it's a shame as the food is good

Why when my delivery time was 17.50 do I get a text saying order cancelled at 17.49??? Extremely poor and very bad customer service. Never order from here.

Food was cold, all dishes was watery and no flavour. Ordered my food at 17.55 and arrived at 20.00 when the estimated delivery time was 1hr 20. I won't be ordering from here again 👎🤮

Saddened by the fact the restaurant remains close. Takeaway not the same. Replacement made for some starters which were dried up. Feel sad you think it's not worth reopening your restaurant as you make just as much on takeaway. Not worth 30 quid to sit at home sorry won't order again

To say that the pandemic has changed things is an understatement. Summer Palace pulled off a memory journey that started at least 30 years ago!! So, ok it's much better to eat in the restaurant, taking in the atmosphere and the food & the lovely staff, but this was the next best thing - thank you. Memories re-stored!

Mediocre, Rice bland spare ribs dry and chicken balls over cooked sweet and sour sauce watery! Curry had lots of oil on top of it

Absolutely lovely food served by very friendly staff. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere.They have an 'all you can eat' menu several days a week for £14.50 per person. Excellent value for money.The food really is fabulous. Best Chinese food I've had in Nottingham, maybe anywhere for that matter.
