The Cheesecake Shop in Gedling

Went here , purchased three cakes, was overcharged by £1.00 went straight back into the store to point this out to the foreign speaking lady ( blonde hair, maybe polish) as I pointed this out being £1.00 I was looked at as though it was my fault, and was even told that I could of come back later on!!! It's a shame because the cakes did taste nice, but I don't intend to call there again, this place has lost my trust.

Having visited the cheesecake shop many times before and getting really good customer service I was a little disappointed when I visited today with a friend. I ordered two cappuccinos which wernt very hot and we both had a piece of cheesecake which normally is served on a plate nicely decorated with a strawberry and sauce, today we got it served on a saucer with a plastic fork, I no it wasn't the usual staff on today so this is probably why, sorry moan over.

I always purchase their celebration cakes. Absolutely delicious with so many to choose from, along with all the different cheesecakes, you can purchase a full cheesecake, half or quarter. You can also dine in or they have seating outside. Have been purchasing for many years now.

Ordered the Strawberry Fields as a surprise birthday cake for my husband who loves all things strawberry and he's given it his seal of approval! Having never tried this shop before, I was a bit apprehensive but I definitely don't regret my decision! The cake had the right balance of sweetness and freshness - absolutely melt-in-the-mouth delicious. I think you have a repeat customer on your hands here (there are a few other things on your menu that have caught my eye)!Although I definitely WON'T be using the third party delivery service again because the cake arrived looking very sad, and i'm pretty sure it wouldn't have left the shop looking like that. So please, tell the delivery guys to give it some TLC, I'm sure customers would rather have a cake arrive late in perfect condition than it arriving sooner but compromised.

Stood there like lemons. More interested in filling black bags than serving. Not so much as a n acknowledgment. Walked out and gave business elsewhere. Think that staff member would be looking for another job if it were my business.

The cream icing on the cupcakes were terrible and sour. All my guests hated them. However the cream filling on the cheesecake and carrot cake tasted different and was edible. Overall not impressed with the quality but you get what you pay for. M&S or Sainsburys cakes next time

The most amazing cheesecakes as well as other types of cakes and such. I have not tried anything I didn't like.Only reason for four and not five stars is that I ordered online, selected a pick up time for the next day and my order had been cancelled. I was never notified. I was able to get the same cake but it wasn't personalised sadly.

Doing eat out to help out but not on cheesecake...you know the thing people actually go there for. Ok we will have a drink and move on... Ask for a mocha and leave. Once cool enough to drink think oh this is just coffee get to the bottom and nope it's a mocha. That the barista couldn't be bothered to make properly. EOTHO is supposed to encourage you back to local places. But in this case its encouraged me to never go back.

When coming into the shop to order the rainbow cake for my daughters birthday the price was £24.50,the man took my details ,I told him I was picking it up on the Saturday 12th June, But then had to ring them on the Thursday to ask if I could pick the cake up on friday instead. The lady said that my order wasn’t even written down . also they had put the price of the cake to £27.50 in 3 days. .so I won’t be ordering anymore from there not happy with the service.

My sister and I had a latte each and shared a piece of cheesecake. It was all very nice. We'll definitely be going again.
