The Lambley in Gedling

We went to wake, they had catered for only 30 but it was 50 plus. To get drinks (alcoholic) it was waitress service only and it took 20 minutes to get a drink! The buffet was more than adequate and nicely presented.

Nipped in for lunch. Lovely food and very welcoming. Steak and stilton baguette was amazing, homemade Bakewell tart was a real winner. Will definitely be back

OK, we went for Christmas Day eal which I realise is not an easy day to cater for. 4 of us in the party booked in for 2pm and Pre booked food....not Overy crowded and apeared to be a reasonable amount of staff.... Place clean and tidy... But.... For 70 per head I expect more, half an hour wait to be served first course and a 1chiur gap bbetwee starter and main...no explanation until asked when we would be served. When it was, some items on Pre booked order were missing again with no explanation. Generally what was served was OK.... Again a delay for desert.... One in party asked if could have cream rather than brandy sauce on the Christmas pudding, to be asked had they requested this at time of booking and then advised the did not have any cream. The restaurant did offer a free drink for the delay in the main course which was kind but overall, as I say for the price, expect more and would not book again, particularly for christmas

I went to The Lambley today with my brother. We got there just as they'd opened and we were served straight away. I have to say the food was excellent, the best serloin steak I've had in a long time, as was the steak and stilton pie my brother had, lovely big chunks of meat in a rich gravy. The staff were very polite and very efficient. We shall definitely be going again when we are in the area. Top marks from us both!

We booked this venue for my late father's wake. The staff were so kind, friendly and efficient. They ensured everything was perfect for us. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Spent a few hours at the Lambley at a family event. The staff were excellent providing table service for drinks and also provided a very nice buffet.The decor is very nice both inside and out, there is great outdoor seating available.Toilets were clean and pleasant.There were a couple of real ale options at the bar along with typical larger, cider and wine choices.Although we didn't eat any of the food, something smelled delicious when I wandered past the kitchen so I would happily return to sample the food.

Went for a drive and a lunch out.Found this place at 12 noon asked if we could have lunch.Owner said she was busy but would squeeze us in.Beautiful meals very tasty.Next time will book,as the pub security was a gorgeous addition.(dog)....

An absolutely superb pub frequented by their very own local ‘light on his feet’ Alex Belfield 😀Excellent menu: Wife got a large portion after I ate the Fish & Chips.Karen the Landlady offers a good range of ales and, if your polite, she’ll show you her bulging sack.Good strong Italian coffee is occasionally available whenever Gino de Campovan attends.Well worth a visit, we will be back and there’s nothing you can do about it x😉

Very nice Sunday dinner. Great service. Attentive staff. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended.
