Food okay but drinks over priced. Very dreary carpets need a good clean .... needs a refurbishment badly. Staff barely out of nappies by the looks of it so obviously 0 experience and are barked at by owner who is clearly overwhelmingly and evidently incapable. I didn't get a great vibe won't return sad as its local but don't like the woman in charge

My son has just moved to this area and this is his local we went to visit on Saturday and what a lovely pub!! Atmosphere great with friendly bar staff can see why its popular among locals and we will definately be back soon - thank you to all the staff

Quiet, charming, helpful staff, very decent surroundings. It's been on my metaphorical doorstep for several years and I now can't think why we've never been before... But we're definitely coming back! We shall then try the food, which certainly looks excellent and very reasonably-priced.

Lovely lunchtime with family. Even tho they were busy with a large Christmas party table still made us feel welcome and explained there maybe delays in food due to the big table. But still our order didn't take long and was delicious as always 👍

Xmas Dinner with daughter and grankids. Staff were excellent and very accomadating. The food was OK but for £50 a head we were expecting a little better if I'm honest.. Overall not bad and everything else is reasonably priced

We went for breakfast with Santa for a magical experience. This was possibly one of the worst run experiences I have ever been to. We pre booked this and were called a week before to pre order our food... Which we did. We were seated and placed our drinks order. We only ordered a latte and an orange juice & lemonade.... Not sure why it took 3 attempts and the wrong drinks. At 10.50 I then asked where our food was (50 mins after arriving) and was told by the waiting staff they would find out where it was. Fortunately the kids were fed but I was looking forward to breakfast. When the elves came to take us to Santa I assumed that we weren't getting our meal. The Santa part was great, but overshadowed by this poor experience. When we went to the till we advised we never received the adult meals.... And not even an apology was offered. As an ex-barman I was shocked by this and will be taking my trade elsewhere in the future

Decent lil Sunday pub roast meat was soft and Yorkshire pud was 10/10

Well managed and courteous staff. Great menu and choice of beverage, beautiful beer garden, family orientated. Recently had a birthday party in their function room... What a great night we had....DJ, bar staff and the manager really made our night Thank you

The website was easy to use to create the booking. We were greeted and, due to it not being full, we were able to choose our table. Ordering was easy enough. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The menu caters for most tastes and they asked if anyone in the group had any allergies before taking the order. The food was excellent and really good value for money. Very impressed.

Food and service was great even during these uncertain times. The only down side was seated by the only exit door which some customers just kept open when leaving and sadly when having the dessert there was still the packaging wrapped left at the edge of the cake, would normally mention it to a member of staff but seeing as took advantage of the Eat out to Help Out offer, didn't feel like making an issue out of it.
