Lovely family meal, our party of 7 included a teenager and child and was to celebrate my mum's birthday. Right from the start the staff were friendly and attentive. Varied menu choice at very reasonable prices with a surprisingly good selection of wines. Despite it being a busy lunchtime food was served in a friendly and timely manner, was well presented and surprisingly good for a pub chain. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Spent a lovely afternoon with family at this lovely, friendly restaurant. Great service, great choice of food on the menu, and food was excellent! Beautiful surroundings! Definitely will be back! Thank you ! 😊

There was no heating on the the pub on a very cold February day. We were not told in advance when booking, or advised when we arrived. We were only told when we asked to move somewhere warmer. We thought about leaving, but as had made a special trip to get there, decided to stay on. There was no offer of anything to make our stay more comfortable, such as extra discount on our food or portable heaters to warm us up. A bit poor really.

Lovely Sunday Roast, warm friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere. Everyone on our table of 7 cleaned their plates! So go you won't be disappointed.

We visited on 28/12 with our Papa. He recently lost his wife (our Nana) so taking him out for lunch was something we wanted to be lovely and relaxing for him.We had Shelley as our waitress and she was nothing but kind, helpful and chatty! A lovely host & definitely made our lunch that much more enjoyable. Everything was delicious and our Papa loved every minute.

Easy to book online. Warm welcome, friendly serving staff and great choice of food and drinks. Service was great with drinks and food arriving quickly after ordering. Nothing was too much trouble and easy to pay the bill at the end of the meal. Good COVID19 processes in place and clean toilets. Really nice atmosphere and lovely place to dine out.

Not a great experience.I remember fondly coming here a long time ago, with my parents. The food USED TO BE great. The general ambience and service were great. I mean, I loved the food. Not any more though.I'll be honest I don't think I've ever had a more unpleasant steak. It had been butchered so terribly that I found myself unable to cut clean through it with a steak knife. My partner mean while tried to eat a beef pie whose crust was so tough she chose to pry the lid off and eat the content like a bowl of casserole.Regarding the staff. I don't think i have ever encountered a more disinterested group of 'workers'.I'm generally someone who prefers not to complain or make a scene. When I tried to give feedback on the steak, the waitress, ignored me. She couldn't even manage a slight apology, and walked straight off before I could even begin to mention the pie.In sad to have experienced the state of this pub.We will not be back.
