Wandering Dragon in Gedling

Well, where do i begin? I could start this journey with the rapid delivery time or perhaps the joyful service of browsing the menu online... even before my fork touched my lips, I knew I was in for a good time. And then it happened. The perfectly viscous sweet and sour sauce had my taste buds jumping for joy. I turned to face Lucy next to me, "wow" we both proclaimed. Our eyes lit up and belly kicked into gear. This was going to be a big one...What did we have between the 4 of us I hear you ask? Ha, well let me tell you... Sweet and sour tofu - black bean tofu - beef in black pepper sauce - vegetable singapore vermicelli - 8 veg spring rolls - prawn crackers - egg fried rice (large) and the pièce de résistance... vegetarian mock duck. "Thats alot of food!" well, is it? It was gone in minutes.The black bean tofu, superb. The vermicelli, exquisite. The egg fried rice? room for improvement...Wandering dragon really do pioneer the way for nottinghams east asian cuisine. What started as folklore has firmly solidified its legendary status amongst local critics and general punters looking for a good time.I just cannot express how elated I am after consuming your wandering goods. Will I wander again? Of course i will.

Starters were nice, having a good portion size, but some things were very dry. The chow meins were full of meat (massive bonus), but the noodles were extremely salty and inedible. The salt and pepper chips were full of uncooked garlic, and didn’t really have any chilli. The order did arrive 30 minutes early, but we were still waiting for an hour and a half. Overall, not the best Chinese we’ve had, but starters were decent

One star is too good, ordered this Evening for a 22.00 delivery, I got a call at 21.15 my order has arrived, I stated it should be 22.00, when I got home the driver was there at 21.55, my food was stone cold, and incomplete. I phoned wandering dragon, nothing but excuses. Never will I order from here again.

Never going here again. All the food was cold, chicken balls dry, they forgot the chips so I called and they sent them over don't know why they bothered as they were soggy. Curry tasted odd. To top it off was sick in the night. Not only horrible food also makes you ill... AVOID!!!

First time we've ordered from here, and the last. Ordered a delivery for 6:20pm, it turned up at 5pm. Marvelous.

Lost count of how many times I have ordered from this place, the food is consistently amazing, and the lady who runs the restaurant is lovely!

Used them often, used to be good, last order curry sauce was missing but didn't bother saying anything. Today took 2 hours to come, was freezing cold only edible thing was the prawn crackers. Almost a £30 order too. Will not be using again!

Placed my order around 7, its now gone 10 and still no sign of the food being delivered..Been trying to contact them for over an hour and I'm pretty sure they've taken the phone off the line. Really not impressed with this service, or lack off.Will come back to rate the food if it ever turns up.

Christmas eve treat ordered from these guys at 5.30pm as we have kids waiting for Santa. Expected delivery between 6.50 and 7.10.Waited until 7.30 still no food so tried to call phone constantly engaged tried to cancel our order it wouldn't let me.Food turns up just after 8pm when I have ordered elsewhere due to hungry kids. Delivery driver was less than apologetic

I usually love this place for its crispy chilli chicken etc, but today tried the s&p squid, very dry.Also had a driver who drop called me 5 times then said "oh I guess you were sleeping" (which I wasn't) in a very rude way when I answered his call. He was right outside so I'm not sure what the issue was.
