Woodlark Inn in Gedling

I stopped by here for Sunday lunch after a good walk. The lunch was excellent - everything was fresh, well cooked & beautifully presented- I strongly recommend the pork belly (to die for!). All washed down with a couple of pints of well kept Lion's Pride bitter - the best beer I've had in a while. All very reasonably priced and very good value. I'll be back when I'm next in the area.

Lovely surroundings we ate in the heated lovely outdoor area. Pub insides are lively and traditional. Great food variety, presentation and taste, service excellent. Good variety of beers, first batch of micro brew since civic restrictions being made at the moment, must come back to taste some!.

Really lovely food and atmosphere. Only thing that stops it being 5* was the very limited vegetarian option… menu changes though so sure we would have been fine another day 😊

Birthday meal with my mum and we wanted a great fish supper in Nottingham. This popped up on Teip Advisor and we phoned up to book at table. It was fully booked but they just had a cancellation as we were phoning. Luckily we got a table for 6.30 pm. On arrival we were shown to our table by a young polite man. A young woman took our drinks order and we chose some delicious sounding dishes. Penang fish curry and scallops were some of the dishes we chose. The beers were a great selection too. As the restaurant filled up we ate our meals in silence as the food tasted great, spicy, and flavour some.This is my new favourite place as it specialises in sea food and as I am normally always at the sea side and love sea food it's the best place for me to eat when in the midlands.The £70 plus bill was worth it.Will be back soon.

Wow what a find..... some of the best seafood we've ever eaten. Great customer service friendly staff, not one to miss if you are in the area.

Visited the woodlark for lunch last Friday it was gorgeous and yummy seafood cooked to perfection. The service was quick and we felt really safe (COVID wise). Really reasonable price too for what we both had.

Really great food, we all had a different fish dish, mussels, scampi, crab, fish of the day and each one was great. Well worth a visit if you are a fish lover and a good choice of real ales.

Food was exceptional! Great value and quality! Highly recommend the Sunday lunch! Lovely outside seated area.
