What fabulous value for money. The food is delicious, such a wide variety of fabulous quality dishes. The service is excellent. Great for a special meal out

Everything was great (food, service, value for money etc), apart from the noise! Because there are no soft furnishings (carpet, curtains) to absorb the sounds, other people's conversations were very noisy. A couple of times, we had to lean forwards towards each other to be able to hear what the other person was saying. There were no rowdy diners! Just other people chatting.

Smart place with friendly team. Covid aware and secure. Superb range of food - really tasty. Initially thought bit pricey - but happy to pay because of good quality. Visited at lunch - groups of "ladies that lunch". Recommended

Visited last month for belated birthdays.Owner severed us, a knowable no heirs and graces type of guy.I can’t fault the place, lovely environment, fantastic staff, food amazing.Wish I could afford to go more often.Never stop being a 10 out of 10.🎉

Stunning food served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a bit of a hidden gem within Market Harborough, well known within the town for offering very high quality food at great value. There were five of us eating from the Christmas menu and not one dish was anything less than perfect. Over lunch they only have one sitting and so service is relaxed but attentive; we stayed for over two hours enjoying three courses. Sublime. Booking advised though.

The Flower Club of Market Harborough chose Ascough's again for their committee Christmas meal. Everyone really enjoyed their menu choices and the service was excellent throughout the meal. Well done and thank you very much for a lovely evening.

Well worth the money. Faultless food that I've never experienced before. Staff are lovely and went way above what I'd expect.

This place is excellent, really value for money and the food is of a much higher standard than their prices suggest. We had 2 courses, petit fours, 2 coffees and two drinks for £50. The starter was 3 scallops with taramasalata made with the roe and a brie croquette. It's delicious but perhaps a potato croquette would have been more suited to the scallops. For mains we had the chicken and pork. Again, really delicious. It was excellent and the service is very good. It was also very covid aware. Highly recommended.

The food here was amazing and the majority of the wait staff were amazing too.Not 5 stars as we were very rushed so that they could have the table back for another sitting. We didn't get a chance to breathe between courses. There was an issue with one of the courses (hair) and it could have been dealt with better.Very reasonable though, would definitely return.
