Louisa’s Place is a beautiful classic/modern bar that you’d usually find in a swanky area of London, a great place for coffee, or lunch, or to meet up with friends for a night of cocktails and if there’s a DJ playing, dancing, I know the owner, so always reserve a table for us when we’re planning a night out.

Thought I would give this place a try just to check it out and ordered a breakfast and went for the scrambled egg as there was no fried egg option, discovered a few issues with the breakfast1- eggs had no taste2- toast was iverly cold but butter rock solid3- Food sat for 10 mins on the counter before making it to me so by this point the whole breakfast was coldOther than this there was no problems very friendly welcome etc but no one likes cold food

One of my favourite places to go out for drinks, lovely atmosphere, always does everything they can to accommodate. If you haven’t been here before I would highly recommend. Joe in particular is great. Love this place 5/5!

A lovely place to go for lunch or just for a coffee and cake. Friendly staff and reasonably priced food. Plenty of space for prams too.

Popped in before going swimming at the leisure centre. What an awesome find. Had Eggs Benedict. The eggs were delicious. Kids menu also available so the little was happy...!

Nice place, pleasant decor and facilities. Visited for a laser clay shooting night and enjoyed the pub and had a good night's entertainment. Service was good and prices were reasonable.Parking is good with the market car park close by under 3 minutes walking distance.

EDIT: The venue is under a current planning application to close and convert to residential flats - please comment via HDC portal to object and save one of our local independent, much-needed venues!I love this plce, and always take friends there when they come to visit. There are some amazing cocktails (possibly the only dedicated bar venue for them in town) and the vibe is friendly, modern and cosy. There were one or two staff members who during the pandemic were ill-mannered (questioning my friend on her exemption from fave coverings what her 'proof' was! And then instead sitting us by the open door all evening, freezing cold! Given you take your mask off when in the venue anyway?!), but otherwise staff are lovely. Service is prompt and reliable. Haven't tried the food!

A relaxed atmosphere, despite visiting on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of comfortable seating, with modern and vibrant decor. The table service was relatively quick and we didn't feel rushed to order or pay. Really good coffee and the food looked great too. A lovely visit.
