Palmers Ullesthorpe Cafe in Harborough

Went with my daughter last Sunday. We bought some lovely plants at very reasonable prices. We also had lunch in the cafe which was delicious. The staff in both the shop and cafe were friendly and efficient. First class well done.

Great place, visited the Aquatic centre for a pump and reservoir,and then the garden centre for the plants. Great selection, well cared for.

The cafe here is brilliant. Always loads of nice food available and drinks. Staff are all really friendly too. Also the garden centre has an amazing selection of plants and outdoor furniture. Will definitely be back again.

For a smaller garden centre it was very nice as was the restaurant the meal we chose was delicious.

Lovely place.Quality plants and excellent pet shop.The young lady in Pets Corner was extremely helpful and knowledgable .

One of the best garden centres, plants cared for very well. Have a good variety of outdoor furniture.Loads of things to see pluse gifts and some clothes.Always a pleasure to walk around both inside and out, they also have a separate building for fish pools, waterfalls, aquatics IE pumps, filters etc and so much more as well as goldfish, koi carp and aquariums plus loads of aquarium fish.Staff at both places are helpful and friendly.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Waiting in the queue at the cafe for 10-15 minutes, ignored by the 3 staff members entirely. Called one over to ask if they were still serving, they said yes but only at the counter.I pointed out we had been waiting at the counter.She responded with “well we are quite busy.”Common courtesy and acknowledgement would have been nice. Not pure ignorance.

Good breakfast. Excellent value. Garden centre staff helpful. Still a lot of Christmas decorations out that need to be packed away

1st visit looking for aquatic plants, very warm and friendly staff. Mixed age group, the old, young, ugly and beautiful. Especially, Margaret who helped me to get water for my dog. Excellent choice of ceramic plant pot at less than half of the online prices. Shame there were no locally produced items. Would recommend.

I have always liked this garden centre and have shopped here for more than 15 years every season.Now Palmers are running it they have put their stamp on it.I miss the aquatic centre and the little tea room but the whole place needed updating and a fresh look.I think they have done it, a better dining experience and much more choice overall, with keen prices and some great sale offers on quality products.The staff as always are helpful if at times a little stretched and always with a smile.Outside in the large car park you will also find an antique store and a small fruit and veg store, both are worth a visit.
