Shoulder of Mutton in Harborough

Sunday lunch was an unexpected delight. Very high quality meats and vegetables, beautifully cooked and presented.definitely a cut above most pub food and the friendly service and well kept beers made it an excellent choice.

We had a lovely meal with the choir of Great Bowden Parish Church recently. The food is certainly a notch or two up now and I would recommend trying it!

Food looks great. I'd love to try it esp as it's not too far from us. Unfortunately while you keep hosting the annual fox slaughter, it won't happen. Do better. 👍

Overpriced, poor service & disappointing menu. The fact they host the bloodthirsty fox-hunting mob gives you ample reason on its own to avoid the dump too. 😬

What’s great about the Sunday roasts:1) the gravy - really tasty and plenty of it2) the slow cooked pork and lamb is really tasty!3) good selection of veg4) if you don’t fancy a roast, other good options are on the menu - the Dirty Harry burger is a favourite of my sons!Very pleased this pub is on our doorstep! :)

The set up was well organised, ie Staff working their way around all the people sat in the garden. However i did find the Sunday Roast a little bit on the small side, but Food was Beautifully Cooked and Served.

Absolutely wonderful Sunday roast! Slow roast pork is excellent. They also do a massive family feast with piles of food in the middle for families to serve themselves. Very friendly and accommodating staff! Will be going again :)
