Enjoyed the meal. Good to go somewhere different in the local area.Lots of choice on the menu. Had steak which was OK but saw some of the pies coming out they looked fab. Hubby had gammon which was very good. Thick moist and not salty.Recommend the Lime cheesecake

There are a choice of 16 mains + omelets and sandwiches. Plenty of choice. Price for a main course start around £10. 6 people went there and all enjoyed there meals

Very good, clean and generally inviting restaurant. Sometimes young people serving and welcoming guests, are very shy and need some customer service training to give them more confidence with the customers. Probably hard to get staff there, so it is understandable, however, they are well presented clean and polite.The food served is the best in the area, in terms of taste, presentation and quality. The sauces are gorgeous, meat quality excellent, sweets superb together with little homemade biscuits with coffee, which is also excellent.Would go every week if I could afford to.Mark is a very professional chef and we are very lucky to have him locally.

Michelin star food, you wouldn't even expect in such a small village. Fantastic service. Don't avoid if in area. Very cosy.

We had a great meal here. Nice surroundings and a typical country pub. It was a Sunday so 3 choices of roast were on offer along with a wide menu selection written on the blackboard. The food was great, very tasty and hot and service was friendly and efficient. Four of us ate for just under £80. We highly recommend the Indian starter sharing platter and the dessert sharing platter which was 5 sharing desserts for £12! We look forward to going again.
