Had the platter. It was a bit greasy. Boys enjoyed their burgers. Nice pubbing. The lone member of staff was very good

Waiting almost an hour for burger and chips was frustrating, but it was made much worse by the attitude of the owner. He is just plain rude. I got poured a flat pint and asked for a head on it, his attitude stank.In all fairness the food was really nice when it arrived.

Seven of us booked in for a family pre xmas lunch, first impressions count and we found it to be a warm, welcoming and friendly pub. The Everards beer was good and the lunch was excellent. We had a great bottle of Italian merlot on the recommendation of the owner/ manager Adam. He and his staff made us welcome and his friendly manner made for a great atmosphere. I will go back next time I am in the area.

I written this with a heavy heart and empty stomach, I placed an order over an hour ago, the wrong order was given to the delivery driver and I received food neither of us could eat. Having contacted them I was told it was still their.having contacted deliveroo it then took them over 30 mind to accept the replacrment order. I am unhappy and sadly doubt I will be using their services after this fiasco. EDIT food finally arrived, OMG I can't belive they can dish out this calibre of food and not get shut down. It was the worst meal we have ever had in our lives and that takes some beating. I strongly recommend that you stay away from this place, especially for food its ghastly.

Absolutely superb food. Friendly, polite servers. Lovely cosy setting. Did i mention the food was absolutely banging?! Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely pub and amazing grub! Really clean and the staff were very friendly. It was our first time but definitely won't be our last. Highly recommend visiting if you want some lovely food with a relaxed atmosphere.

Stunning food, lovely atmosphere, fantastic decor with very friendly staff. A very high end feel. I had the pit burger and crunchie cheesecake... delicious!!! Would definetly recommend to anyone.

Just popped in off the cuff for Sunday lunch, the Mrs had the Roast, I went for the pit burger and we both agree it was bloomin' gorgeous. Roast was perfect and my burger topped with meats from their onsite smoker was just awesome. Great atmosphere 8n a lovely village pub, great staff and friendly locals, well worth a visit.
