The Cottesmore Chip Shop in Harborough

Bustling but reasonably quick. Food was all cooked nicely. Large chips were a decent size but not as large as some places.

A fish and chip takeaway with small dining-in facility. Takeaway tea and coffee available. Customer toilet. I only had sausage, chips and a tea but it was all good. Very cheerful, welcoming service, on this, my first visit.

Not great ! Chips a bit soggy, no scraps available! Decent sausage tho, price a tad high.

Got home late last night just as the Chip Shop was closing. Welcomed with a smile and the usual good service. No rush at all and supper was delivered to the car so we could wait in the warmth. Thank you and best wishes are not enough but enjoy your Christmas break.

Brilliant little chippy. Decent fish and chips at a good price. Sat in and cooked to order.

The large burger meal was very good and more than ample and the chips delicious. The next day I got a large kabab meal and to me it was just not quite enough and felt it should be bigger for the money I payed. It was very nice but left me still hungry and I'm not a big lad.

Accepting that it's obviously deep fried food, the fish and chips we ate last night were the best we've had for a long time. Chips and batter on the large cod were crisp and "dry" with very little of the usual oily aftertaste and well packaged. The shop was clean and the staff were friendly.

really good fish and chips. not surprised one bit that the place was busy. it certainly deserves it's high ratings. will definitely come back next time I'm in the area and highly recommend to all my colleagues. 👍
